4- Senior National Championship Issue:
G;
4.1- USA Canada agreement:
The presidents are seeking for other possible avenues and they think there
would be a tournament between the winning teams of each country playing
against each other.
The Alberta president is classifying the team level on three tiers. The top tier
that includes Quebec and Alberta, the second tier includes Manitoba and
Saskatchewan and the lower tier includes the other provinces.
The presidents are also talking of having a possible North-American
championship.
The Manitoba president said “there is no game not having USA teams in our
Nationals”
The CTHF president wishes a working committee on what we can handle and
what we can’t handle.
There are some comments expressing the non logic of having Canadian
players joining an American team.
The Manitoba president is proposing a possible format for the Nationals.
1. First tier
2. Second tier
3. Third tier
There is no vote taken on this proposal.

4.2- Canadian National Championships issue
The CTHF president is requesting some written proposals on a new project
for the 2016 Nationals. The Team Handball Ontario and the CTHF haven’t
reached an agreement about the money involved for the organisation of the
2014 Nationals.
For that reason, the Team Handball Ontario hasn’t paid his affiliation fees
and are now considered a non member.
5- National Teams Program
As of today, there is no juvenile men and women team, considering there is no
competition for them in the coming year.
They will be active when a formal program will be presented by the VP National
teams to the board of director.
The CTHF president insists of the importance of having a funding program. The
Manitoba president mentioned the interest in his province for a juvenile
program. The idea of creating a regional competition is raised.
For the east, we could have Quebec and New-Brunswick.
For the west, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and possibly BC.

level. He said that Mr. Mike Nahmiash as a list of individuals and he wishes these
individuals to be recognize.
The CTHF COO will communicate with our new consultant to inquire for this
possibility.
Following this action, Mr. Mike Nahmiash will communicate with the VP Coaches

7- Toronto 2015 Pan AM Games Follow Up
7.1- Volunteers
The CTHF president is deploring the low numbers of volunteers coming from
Ontario. This lack of volunteers is due to the arch rules of the Pan AM Games
2015 organisation that require a minimum of 1;f;rr;r;
full week to be accepted as a
G;e
volunteer.
G;
The CTHF president is looking on the possibility of perhaps some volunteers
coming from Brazil. Unfortunately, it will be difficult because of the language
barrier. The Alberta federation president and the Manitoba president think it is a
responsibility of the Toronto 2015 organisation to seek for volunteers.
7.2- Announcer
The Toronto 2015 Pan AM Games organisation is looking for an announcer that
speaks English / French / Spanish.
8- Administration fees for the National Teams:
After few minutes of discussion about the administration fees charge to the
National Teams, the presidents are proposing a flat rate of $50 per participant
and per activity in the same fiscal year.

9- CTHF National Teams Insurance:
The Alberta president insists on the following point:
