1 Description
L’agitateur magnétique chauffant 10 L est un appareil destiné à l’usage de
laboratoire.
Il permet l’agitation et le chauffage de liquides pour des volumes jusqu’à 10
L.
L’appareil est constitué d’un boîtier en alliage léger recouvert d’une peinture
époxy et d’un plateau chauffant de diamètre 150 mm.
L’appareil est livré avec les accessoires suivants :
•
1 couronne de sécurité.
•
1 turbulent en PTFE.
•
1 fiche mâle pour thermomètre à contact.

3 Montage, installation, mise en service
•
L’appareil sera branché sur un réseau correspondant à ses
caractéristiques électriques, avec mise à la terre et protection
différentielle.
•
Mise en service
Mettre en marche l’agitation en actionnant l’interrupteur lumineux (3)
correspondant et régler avec soin son l’intensité en tournant la commande
régulatrice de vitesse (4).
Agir de même si nécessaire pour le réglage du chauffage en actionnant
l’interrupteur (1) et la commande du régulateur électronique du chauffage
(2).
Une fois ces indications effectuées, placer le récipient à agiter sur le plateau
de l’agitateur, y introduire le barreau aimanté et régler la vitesse à l’aide du
bouton (4).

4 Précautions d’emploi
4.1 Sécurité
™ Risque de brûlures
•
L’agitateur magnétique chauffant 10 L est un appareil qui doit être
manipulé avec précautions.
•
Il est déconseillé de déplacer l’appareil lorsque celui-ci est en
chauffe ou sous tension.
•
Ne saisir l’appareil que par les parties non chauffantes dont la
température demeure proche de l’ambiante.
™ Protection des personnes
•
N’entreprendre aucune expérience sans avoir pris connaissance au
préalable des risques liés aux produits chimiques utilisés.
•
Travailler avec les équipements de protection individuels et collectifs
adaptés aux risques inhérents aux produits chimiques utilisés (Hotte,
Lunettes de protection…).
•
Ne pas utiliser cet appareil pour faire chauffer des liquides
inflammables, des produits ou des mélanges de produits présentant
des risques d’inflammation ou de décomposition explosive.
™ Emanations de gaz
Travailler dans une salle ventilée s’il y a risque d’émanation de gaz lors des
manipulations effectuées.
™ Précautions d’utilisation
•
Ne jamais laisser l’appareil en fonctionnement sans surveillance.
•
Ne jamais laisser un récipient vide sur l’appareil en chauffe.
™ Surface de travail

présente notice.
4.2 Entretien
•
•
En cas de pollution, cet appareil devra être nettoyé en prenant les
précautions suivantes :
o
l’appareil devra être débranché du réseau électrique.
o
tout nettoyage (quelque soit le produit utilisé) ne devra être
effectué que si l’appareil est froid.
Pour le nettoyage des différentes pièces de l’appareil, nous
recommandons l’emploi des produits suivants :
o
nettoyage de l’acier inoxydable : éthanol.
o
nettoyage des parties peintes : éthanol et coton ou autre tissu
non abrasif.
•
Cet appareil ne nécessite aucun entretien de la partie électrique.
•
Cet appareil ne doit en aucun cas être démonté par l’utilisateur
pour quelque raison que ce soit. Toute intervention devra être
effectuée par la Société JEULIN ou son représentant.
5 Service après vente
La garantie est de 2 ans, le matériel doit être retourné dans nos ateliers.

1 Description
The 10 L heating magnetic stirrer is an apparatus designed for laboratory
use.
It is used to stir and heat liquids in volumes up to 10 L.
The apparatus consists of a lightweight metal alloy body coated with epoxy
paint and a 150 mm diameter hotplate.
The apparatus comes with the following accessories :

3 Assembly, installation, use
•
The apparatus must be plugged into a circuit that meets its
electrical specifications, with grounding and differential
protection.
•
Use
Start the stirrer with the luminous on/off switch (3) and carefully adjust the
speed by turning the speed control knob (4).
If necessary, adjust the heat in the same manner with the switch (1) and the
electronic thermostat knob (2).
Once these instructions are followed, place the container to be stirred on the
stirrer plate, place the magnetic stirrer bar in the container and adjust the
speed with the knob (4).

4 Use precautions
4.1 Safety
™ Burn danger
•
The 10 L heating magnetic stirrer must be handled with care.
•
It is not advisable to move that apparatus while it is heating or turned
on.
•
Only handle the apparatus by the non-heating parts, which remain
close to ambient temperature.
™ Personal protection
•
Do not perform any experiment without first knowing the risks
associated with the chemicals used.
•
Use the proper personal protective and laboratory safety equipment
(fume hoods, protective goggles…) for the type of chemicals being
used.
•
Do not use this apparatus to heat inflammable liquids, chemicals or
mixtures of chemicals that pose a fire or explosion hazard.
™ Fumes
Work in a ventilated room if there is a danger of fumes being generated from
a given procedure.
™ Use precautions
•
Never leave the apparatus running unattended.
•
Never leave an empty container on the apparatus when the heat is
turned on.

4.2 Maintenance
•

In the event of contamination, this apparatus must be cleaned while
observing the following precautions:
o
the apparatus must be unplugged.
o
do not clean (no matter what product is used) until the apparatus
has cooled completely.
We recommend the following products for cleaning the various parts
of the apparatus:
o
for cleaning the stainless steel : ethanol.
o
for cleaning the painted parts: ethanol and cotton or other nonabrasive tissue.
•
The electrical components of this apparatus require no maintenance.
•
Under no circumstances should the operator dismantle this
apparatus. Such operations should be only performed by the
JEULIN Company or one of their representatives.
5 After-Sales Service
This material is under a two year warranty and should be returned to our
stores in the event of any defects.
