Das Van Gogh Haus in

Vincent van Gogh wohnte während seines
kurzen Lebens drei Monate in Drenthe,
wovon er zwei Monate im Gasthaus
von Hendrik Scholte in Nieuw-Amsterdam
verbrachte. Ein Teil des Gasthofes hat,
durch einen Umbau seinen alten Glanz
zurückerhalten und ist nun ein Café/Restaurant
anno 1883. Dies gilt auch für das Zimmer in
dem Van Gogh damals seine Bilder malte.
Es ist ein besonderer Ort, an dem man die
Atmosphäre erleben kann, die Vincent
damals vorfand. Hiervon berichten uns
Zeichnungen und Bilder sowie Briefe an
seinen Bruder Theo. Das Van Gogh Haus
ist Beginnpunkt für Wanderwege,
Fahrrad- und Autorouten, die Sie zu den
Plätzen fürht, die auch Van Gogh in
seinen Bildern verewigte.

The Van Gogh House in
Nieuw-Amsterdam
The Van Gogh House is the only
publicly accessible house in
the Netherlands in which
Vincent van Gogh lived and worked.
It is a great source of information
about the period this famous painter
spent in Drenthe.
We offer visitors the opportunity to enter
the world in which this master lived during
the autumn of 1883.
Experience the magic of the landscape,
step into Vincent van Gogh’s room, enjoy
the interesting documentary about this
era in his life and meet new people
at our café.Guided tours, special group
and corporate packages for special events
are available.
These include coffee, lunch or dinner in the
restaurant. The museum shop offers a wide
range of spcialist merchandise.

laquelle Vincent a séjourné et travaillé
lors de son séjour en 1883 en Drenthe.
Ni l'aménagement de sa chambre, ni celui
du restaurant n'ont été modifiés depuis
1883.
Lors d'une visite guidée vous aurez une
vision claire de la période en Drenthe,
période qui fut assez importante dans la
vie de Vincent. Cette visite sera illustrée
par la projection d'une vidéo magnifique.
