Information on Tourist Visa
•

Maximum duration of stay in Myanmar for tourists is 28 days.
-
The Tourist Visa is valid for three months from the date issued. (Stay must be
included in the three months)
-
Visa fee is Swiss Franc 30.00 per person.
-
Tour arrangements can be made through the state-owned Myanmar Travels and Tours
or an authorized travel agency. A confirmation for the arrangement from the
travel agency in Myanmar shall be attached to the application for visa,
without which only Foreign Independent Traveler (FIT) Visa will be issued.

Requirements for the Application for Visa

Three copies of the application form.

Passport with validily of at least 6 months after the return.

Three original photographs (pasted one each on the forms).

Visa Fees. (Cash can be sent by mail at your own risk, or pay at the post office
by postal mandate but not by postal account. Cheques are unacceptable.)

Self-addressed envelope with the stamp(s) for registered mail to return the
applicant's passport.
