In the Outaouais, as everywhere in Québec, more
and more women are deciding to breastfeed.
Nevertheless, when the use of artificial milk was
encouraged in the middle of the last century,
fewer and fewer women breastfed their babies in
our society. Breastfeeding their babies is a new
experience for women today. It takes time and a
great deal of encouragement to learn to breastfeed! Support for the breastfeeding woman
is one of the more important elements in
promoting successful breastfeeding.

Support can come from both loved ones and the
community. Businesses, restaurants, libraries,
hair salons, health and social services centres, etc.

women who want to breastfeed their babies.
For this reason, the Tiny Milk Run was created.
How does it work? The businesses and organizations that take part in the Tiny Milk Run are
identified by the international breastfeeding logo,
visible at the entrance to their building.

locations in the Outaouais that will welcome
you warmly when you breastfeed your baby.
