Le personnel hospitalier, inscrit au Week-end pour vaincre le cancer du sein
2006, est prié de se présenter au bureau A-106, entre 9h et 16h, pour
recevoir un cadeau spécial en guise de remerciement, pour sa participation.
Les cartes d’identité de l’HGJ sont obligatoires. Les quantités sont limitées premier venu, premier servi.

Les organisateurs du Week-end recherchent des professionnels du domaine
médical spécialisés en :
Soins médicaux : médecins, infirmières, ambulanciers, secouristes et
personnel médical d’urgence (permis et certifications requis).
Masseurs (certification professionnelle ou preuve de statut d’étudiant
requises).
Podologues (certification professionnelle ou preuve de statut d’étudiant
requises).

Apprendre comment gérer son stress c’est pas juste
une belle idée, à vrai dire c’est bénéfique pour votre
santé. Le mardi 20 juin, ne manquez pas La journée de prévention des
maladies du cœur et des AVC 2006, dont le thème de cette année est Vivre
sans stress. Les conférenciers invités sont :
• le Dr Sidney Miller, animateur de l’émission de radio Relax, diffusée
sur les ondes de CJAD, et directeur du Stress Center, présentera You
Can Stop Stress From Taking a Toll on Your Health !, à midi.
• M. Ernest Godin, psychologue clinique spécialisé dans la gestion du
stress, montrera à son public comment gérer son stress de manière
efficace. Il animera, à 10h, un atelier intitulé The Mindfulness Approach: a Workshop in Stress-Reduction Techniques.
Les conférences auront lieu dans l’Amphithéâtre Block (salle B-106). Des
kiosques d’information seront installés dans le Pavillon G, 1e étage, entre

Learning how to manage stress isn’t just a nice idea—it’s actually good for
your health. Don’t miss JGH Heart & Stroke Health Day 2006: Progress
Without Stress, which takes place Tuesday, June 20!
Featured speakers include:
• CJAD radio personality Dr. Sidney Miller, the host of “Relax: StressFree Radio” and director of “The Stress Center”, who will present
“You Can Stop Stress from Taking a Toll on Your Health!” at noon.
• Ernest Godin, a clinical psychologist specializing in stress management, will teach audience members to effectively deal with stress in
“The Mindfulness Approach: a Workshop in Stress-Reduction
Techniques” at 10 a.m.
Lectures will take place in the Block Amphitheatre (Room B-106).

les bénévoles, à joindre son équipe « Le don de guérir ». Pour plus
d’information, veuillez communiquer avec Bev Kravitz, au poste 4123.
Encouragez l’équipe « Le don de guérir » en achetant des plaques
d’identification (5 $), des aimants pour la voiture (5 $), des lanières à
mettre autour du cou (5 $), des petites serviettes (5 $) et des tablettes de
chocolat (3 $). Vous pourrez vous procurer ces items, le 6 juin entre 9h et
15h, au kiosque du WVCS, situé à l’entrée de la rue Légaré, ou au bureau
de la Fondation (A-107).

The JGH Foundation’s Weekend to End Breast Cancer team, “The Power to
Heal”, invites all interested staff members or volunteers to join their team!
