BIOGRAPHY :
The art in all its color
Françoise Nielly was born in Marseille and now she lives and work in Paris.
She got noticed by her incredible dexterity to handle the knife and the oil. Exposing
all over the world, her art tries to move closer to the technique of the Cubists which
consists in a representation of bodies of facets and a slightly acid pop universe which
is inspired by paintings of Andy Warhol. Tasks spring.
Colors are lively. Faces appear in this chain of knocks and forms. An effective mixture which shakes the retina as a
delicious but bitter candy.
Françoise NIELLY, par son travail sur la couleur qui déstructure et décompose les visages, se situe en filiation directe
d’un Picasso ou d’un bacon. Elle dévoile dans un entretien vidéo que pour elle « la vie est quelque chose de peut-être
trop dur, trop triste donc je vois, je mange les couleurs et je mets toute mon énergie dans la peinture ». The forms and
the volumes arise from the color. These colors, lively and brilliant, who remind her the colors of the landscapes of the
South of France where she spent her childhood, offer to its works an expressiveness, a strength and a processing of
the striking portrait.
Her own way, of her own, Françoise Nielly Françoise Nielly redoes the human face in each of his paintings. And she
redoes it with snout, with knife gashed on the face. The brightness of life which appear from her painting arise from a
hand-to-hand fight with the painting. The color is launched as a missile. Her energy gives to every touch the intensity
of a sound vibration. The spots of painting are musical touches, Dissonant and noisy as the life.

This Concept raises a multicolored dress. The Fluorescent
colors become entangled, training a dress representing the
originality of the paintings of Françoise NIELLY.
Here is the result of a meeting between the teams of Citroën
and the painter Françoise NIELLY, A representation of the

SNOWBOARD BURTON
Françoise NIELLY collaborated with Snowboard Giants Burton in the
launch of a new collection Lipstick Limited kind in autumn, 2010.
This collection was the most surprising and the most explosive at the
level of colors, Burton l’a dédié exclusivement pour sa clientèle
féminine. Ce qui est donc le cadeau idéal pour Madame.
Or in comparison with its paintings, this snowboard could be also
collided on your wall.
ORLY VARNISH
Françoise NIELLY was chosen by the brand of nail polish ORLY to paint a painting in honor of Jeff PINK, with its
exuberant colors.The Californian brand ORLY is also known for its innovative and original colors, thus what could be
more natural than to celebrate this inheritance by a painting of the artist Françoise NIELLY to celebrate.
