It's an interview published (28/12/2004) in Egyptian magazine "al
ousboua" (the week ) by its editor Mustapha bakri in which Mr
Douleïmi the defence lawyer of saddam gives details about his fourand-a-half hour meeting with Saddam Hussein .
In his first interview since his arrest, Iraqi president Saddam
Husseïn expressed to his lawyer Khalil Douleïmi his confidence in
Resistance. Saddam, as describes by Douleïmi is in good health,
serene and was convinced that Bush will leave Iraq by the small
door.

Saddam started the interview by reciting poetry with the great
astonishment of Douleïmi who asked him whether this poetry were

Douleïmi: Mr. President, I am the representative of the Committee of
defense. Do you have something to say to me?
Saddam: I want to know first what was the effect of my first
appearance before the court.
Douleïmi: It had a great effect on the Arab and Iraqi public opinion.
According to everyone’s opinion, it was not your judgement, but of
Al - Ba’ath Al - Iraqi – # 53
those who claim to judge you.
Saddam: This court is not legal, it is the product of the
occupation (...), it is a ridiculous scene setting (...). The
Americans came to Iraq to destroy the Iraqi State and all the
other assertions of Bush are only one pure lie.
Douleïmi: Claims of Bush were all untrue. This is in your favour
Saddam: When we said that Iraq did not have weapons of
massive destruction it was the truth. For that we opened the
ground of Iraq to the inspectors. We wanted to show to the
whole world that we want to cooperate. But, alas, the United
States made "fi" of all that and occupied Iraq without legal
proof.
Douleïmi: In this context, there are remarks of Kofi Annan who said
that this occupation is illegal.
Saddam: This is something important , it is necessary to keep it
for the History. Kofi Annan cannot take any more of the
American lies. If God wants it, Bush will be lonely after the
whole world will know that he is a liar. He will leave Iraq by the
small door because Iraqi Resistance is well prepared. It was
prepared quite ahead of war. I had joined together the military
and political commands and we had prepared this new page of
the war against the Americans. What arrives today is not the
fruit of chance.
Douleïmi: President Saddam Hussein questioned me on the manner
with which the media treated the Iraqi question. I spoke to him about
three models in fact Mustapha Bakri, editor of "Al Ousboû" (the
Week), of Abdelbari Atwan, editor of "Al Qods Al Arabi" and Fahd Al
Rimawi, editor of "Al Majd" of Jordan.
Saddam: Mustapha Bakri is a good person, he never changes
position and I would like you to transmit my greetings to him.
Abdelbari Atwan is also very courageous person like Fahd
Rimawi. And do not forget to transmit my consideration to
George Gallaway who did everything to defend Iraq, to Ramsee
Clark, Mahatir Mohamed, Nelson Mandela and all the free
Arabs. You say to them that Saddam is imperturbable and
optimistic and that he is convinced that the victory is close. I
am afraid for Syria. Like Iraq, this country is in the collimator.
Moreover, I repeated on several occasions that the whole Arab
Nation is aimed. It is a crusade, a racist war which aims the
Arabs and Islam at the same time.
For this reason they were baited on Iraq, this country with the
long civilization. It would be said that they want to be avenged.
They conspired against the legitimate regime of Iraq and
monopolized the power by the force. And if they still remain in
Iraq, it is that their objective is other than the inversion of
Saddam regime.
Douleïmi: He asked me if they conduct ed an attack against
Falloujah again? I answered by the assertion. He counteracted:
Saddam: I was sure, Falloujah will never surrender. I know what
Resistance is capable in this city. The majority of the
commanders of Resistance are old Al Qods army. They are
highly trained.
Douleïmi: He asked me about Intifadha. I said that it‘s going well.
But I avoided speaking to him about the death of Arafat.
Saddam: The Palestinians are determined, may God bless them.
Douleïmi: I questioned the president on which way he have been
captured all while telling him the various versions.
Saddam: When it is a question of making lies, they are very
strong. I was sure that they were going to do everything to
humiliate me in front of my people. What they showed is not
other than a film of cow servant boy and bad invoice in
addition. Reality it is that I was with a friend in the locality of
Saleheddine. It was at the end of the day and I was reading
Coran. When I rose to make the prayer, I suddenly was
surprised by Americans who besieged me. I was without
weapon, and could not defend myself. I was then imprisoned
and I was wildly tortured during the first and the second day.
But, for all to say to you, I do not know if it is my friend who
betrayed me, or, if it were the subject of pressures.

Dans une interview publiée (28 décembre 2004) dans la revue
égyptienne « AL OUSBOUA » (« La Semaine ») par son éditeur
Mustapha Bakrien, l’avocat de Saddam Hussein, Khalil Douleïmi
donne des détails sur sa rencontre d’environ quatre heures et
demie avec ce dernier.
Lors de la première entrevue faisant suite à son arrestation, le
Président iraquien Saddam Hussein confiait à son avocat Khalil
Douleïmi sa confiance dans la Résistance. Saddam, ainsi que le
décrit Douleïmi, est en bonne santé, serein et convaincu que Bush
quittera l’Irak par la petite porte.
Au début de leur entretien, Saddam commença par réciter un
poème, ce qui suscita la stupéfaction de Douleïmi qui lui demanda
s’il en était l’auteur.
Saddam: Oui, j’ai écrit ce poème dans ma prison. La prison ne
peut pas briser la détermination d’un militant arabe.
Douleïmi: Monsieur le Président, je suis le représentant du Comité
de défense. Avez-vous quelque chose à me dire ?
Saddam: Je voudrais tout d’abord savoir quel fut l’effet produit
par ma première apparition devant le tribunal ?

Douleïmi: Cela produisit un grand effet sur l’opinion publique arabe
et iraquienne. Celle-ci a bien compris que ce n’était que
manipulation de la part de ceux qui prétendent vous juger.
Douleïmi: Il m’a demandé s’ils avaient mené récemment une
attaque contre al- Fallujah. Je lui ai répondu affirmativement. Il a
rétorqué :
Saddam: Ce tribunal n’est pas légal, c’est un produit de
l’occupation (...), c’est une mise en scène grotesque. Les
Américains sont venus en Irak pour renverser l’Etat iraquien et
toutes les autres déclarations de Bush ne sont que
mensonges.
Saddam: J’en étais sûr, al-Fallujah ne se rendra jamais. Je sais
de quoi est capable la Résistance dans cette ville. La plus
grande partie des chefs de la Résistance sont des vétérans de
l’armée Al Qods. Ils sont très compétents.
Douleïmi: L’ensemble des accusations de Bush étaient sans
fondement. Ceci plaide en votre faveur.
Saddam: Lorsque nous disions que l’Irak ne disposait pas
d’armes de destruction massive, ce n’était que la pure vérité. Et
nous avons laissé entrer les inspecteurs en Irak. Nous avons
voulu montrer au monde entier que nous acceptions de
coopérer. Mais les Etats-Unis ont profité de la situation pour
occuper l’Irak sans aucune preuve légale.
Douleïmi: Sur ce point, il y a des commentaires de Kofi Annan qui a
déclaré que cette occupation était illégale.
Saddam: Ceci est important et il est nécessaire que l’Histoire
s’en souvienne. Kofi Annan ne peut plus accepter les
mensonges américains. Si Dieu le veut, Bush se retrouvera
isolé lorsque le monde entier aura compris que c’est un
menteur. Il quittera l’Irak par la petite porte, car la Résistance
iraquienne est bien préparée. Elle était préparée longtemps
avant la guerre. J’avais associé les commandements militaires
et politiques et nous avions anticipé cette nouvelle page de la
guerre contre les Américains. Ce qui se passe aujourd’hui n’est
nullement le fruit du hasard.
Douleïmi: Le Président Saddam Hussein m’a demandé de quelle
façon les médias ont traité les événements en Irak. Je lui ai exposé
trois exemples : celui de Mustapha Bakri, éditeur de « Al Ousboû »
(« La Semaine »), de Abdelbari Atwan, éditeur de « Al Qods Al
Arabi » et de Fahd Al Rimawi, éditeur de « Al Majd » en Jordanie.
Saddam: Mustapha Bakri est quelqu’un de bien, qui ne change
jamais de position, et je souhaiterais que vous lui transmettiez
mes salutations. Abdelbari Atwan est aussi quelqu’un de très
courageux, ainsi que Fahd Rimawi. N’oubliez pas non plus de
témoigner mon estime à George Galloway qui fit tout son
possible pour défendre l’Irak, à Ramsay Clark, Mahatir
Mohamed, Nelson Mandela et tous les Arabes libres. Dites-leur
que Saddam est inébranlable et du plus grand optimisme, qu’il
est convaincu que la victoire est proche. J’éprouve des
craintes pour la Syrie. De la même façon que l’Irak, ce pays est
en ligne de mire. Et plus encore, ainsi que je l’ai répété en
plusieurs occasions, c’est la totalité de la Nation arabe qui est
en ligne de mire. Il s’agit d’une croisade, d’une guerre raciste
qui vise les Arabes et l’Islam, par la même occasion. C’est pour
cette raison qu’ils se sont acharnés sur l’Irak, ce pays dont la
civilisation est la plus ancienne. On pourrait dire qu’ils
cherchent à se venger. Ils conspirent contre le régime légitime
de l’Irak et monopolisent le pouvoir par la force. Et s’ils restent
en Irak, cela signifie que leur objectif est autre que le seul
renversement de Saddam.
Douleïmi: Il m’a interrogé à propos de l’Intifada. Je lui ai répondu
qu’elle se poursuit. Mais j’ai évité de lui apprendre la mort d’Arafat.
Saddam: Les Palestiniens sont déterminés, que Dieu les aide.
Douleïmi: J’ai demandé au Président comment eut lieu son
arrestation et je lui en ai exposé les différentes versions.
Saddam: Ils sont experts dans la fabrication des mensonges,
quand c’est dans leur intérêt. J’étais certain qu’ils allaient tout
faire pour m’humilier devant mon peuple. Ce qu’ils ont montré
n’était rien d’autre qu’un film de cowboys, mauvais de surcroît.
La vérité, c’est que j’étais en compagnie d’un ami dans la
localité de Saleheddine. C’était la fin de la journée et je lisais le
Coran. Quand je suis monté pour faire la prière, je fus surpris
par les Américains qui me traquaient. J’étais sans armes et ne
pus me défendre. Je fus alors jeté en prison et torturé
sauvagement les deux premiers jours. Mais, à vrai dire, j’ignore
si ce fut mon ami qui m’a vendu ou si ce fut une affaire de
pressions.

Es una entrevista publicada (28/12/2004) en la revista egipcia "al
ousboua" (la semana) por su editor Mustapha bakrien en la cual
Khalil Douleïmi, abogado de la defensa de Saddam da detalles de
su encuentro de aproximadamente cuatro horas y media con
Saddam Hussein.
En su primera entrevista posterior a su arresto, el Presidente iraquí,
Saddam Hussein expresó a su abogado Khalil Douleïmi su
confianza en la Resistencia. Saddam, como es descrito por
Douleïmi, está en buena salud, sereno y convencido que Bush
abandonará Irak por la puerta chica.
Saddam comenzó la entrevista recitando una poesía ante el
asombro total de Douleïmi que le preguntó si esta poesía sea suya.

Douleïmi: Sr. Presidente, soy el representante del Comité de
defensa. ¿Tiene usted algo que decirme?
Por esta razón ellos se cebaron en Irak, este país con la más
antigua civilización. Se podría decir que ellos quieren ser
vengados. Ellos conspiraron contra el régimen legítimo de Irak
y monopolizaron el poder por la fuerza. Y si ellos todavía
permanecen en Irak, significa que su objetivo es otro que la
inversión en el régimen de Saddam.
Saddam: Quiero saber en primer lugar cual fue el efecto de mi
primera aparición ante la corte.
Douleïmi: Me preguntó si ellos dirigieron nuevamente un ataque
contra al- Fallujah? Contesté afirmándolo. Él respondió:
Douleïmi: Tuvo un gran efecto en la opinión pública árabe e Iraquí.
Según la opinión de todos, no era su juicio, sino de aquéllos que
exigen juzgarlo.
Saddam: Estaba seguro, al-Fallujah nunca se rendirá. Sé de lo
que es capaz la Resistencia en esta ciudad. La mayoría de los
comandantes de la Resistencia son veteranos del ejército Al
Qods. Ellos son muy especializados.
Saddam: Sí, es mía, la escribí dentro de la prisión. La prisión no
puede romper la determinación de un militante árabe.
Saddam: Esta Corte no es legal, es producto de la ocupación
(...), es una ridícula puesta en escena (...). Los norteamericanos
vinieron a Irak para destruir el Estado Iraquí y todas las otras
afirmaciones de Bush son solo una mentira.
Douleïmi: Las acusaciones de Bush eran todas falsas. Esto está a
su favor
Saddam: Cuando dijimos que Irak no tenía armas de
destrucción masiva, era la verdad. Por ello abrimos la tierra de
Irak a los inspectores. Quisimos mostrar al mundo entero que
queríamos cooperar. Pero, allí, los Estados Unidos hicieron
"falsa inteligencia" de todo eso y ocuparon Irak sin pruebas
legales.
Douleïmi: En este contexto, hay comentarios de Kofi Annan que dijo
que esta ocupación es ilegal.
Saddam: Esto es algo importante, es necesario guardarlo para
la Historia. Kofi Annan no puede aceptar más las mentiras
norteamericanas. Si Dios lo quiere, Bush estará solo después
de que la totalidad del mundo sepa que él es un mentiroso. Él
dejará Irak por la puerta chica porque la Resistencia Iraquí está
bien preparada. Fue preparada mucho antes de la guerra. Yo
había unido los mandos militares y políticos y habíamos
preparado esta nueva página de la guerra contra los
norteamericanos. Lo que se presenta hoy no es fruto de la
casualidad.
Douleïmi: El Presidente Saddam Hussein me preguntó por la forma
en que los medios de comunicación trataron el asunto de Irak. Le
hablé acerca de tres ejemplos en los hechos, de Mustapha Bakri,
editor de "Al Ousboû" (la Semana), de Abdelbari Atwan, editor de
"Al Qods Al Arabi" y Fahd Al Rimawi, editor de "Al Majd" de
Jordania.
Saddam: Mustapha Bakri es una buena persona, él nunca
cambia de posición y me gustaría que usted le transmitiera mis
saludos.
Abdelbari Atwan también es una persona muy valerosa igual
que Fahd Rimawi. Y no se olvide de transmitir mi
consideración a George Gallaway que hizo todo lo posible para
defender Irak, a Ramsee Clark, Mahatir Mohamed, Nelson
Mandela y todos los árabes libres. Digales que Saddam es
imperturbable y optimista y que está convencido que la victoria
está cercana. Tengo miedo por Siria. Tal como Irak, este país
está en la mira. Es más, repetí en varias ocasiones que la toda
la Nación Árabe está en la mira. Es una cruzada, una guerra
racista que apunta a los árabes y al Islam al mismo tiempo.
Douleïmi: Él me preguntó por la Intifada. Le dije que va bien. Pero
evité hablarle sobre la muerte de Arafat.
Saddam: Los Palestinos son decididos, que Dios les bendiga.
Douleïmi: Le pregunté al Presidente en que forma fue detenido y le
narré las diferentes versiones.
Saddam: Cuando ellos tienen que fabricar mentiras, ellos son
muy buenos. Estaba seguro que iban a hacer de todo para
humillarme delante de mi pueblo. Lo que mostraron no fue sino
una película de cowboy, además mala. La realidad es que yo
estaba con un amigo en la localidad de Saleheddine. Fue a final
del día y estaba leyendo Corán. Cuando subí para hacer la
oración, fui sorprendido por los norteamericanos que me
acorralaron. Estaba sin armas y no pude defenderme. Fui
entonces encarcelado entonces y torturado salvajemente
durante el primero y el segundo día. Pero, para decirle todo, no
sé si fue mi amigo el que me vendió o si fue un asunto de
presiones.

In Iraq, it is the ba’ athist Resistance which imposes
its politico-military agenda to the American-Zionist
occupier and to his Kollabos:
Anti-American national unity, Intensification of the

The Iraqi Resistance has acted since April 2003, as from the day
after the fall of Baghdad, betrayed and sold. It was organized,
thought, prepared by Saddam Hussein and the Ba' ath Party.
The Ba'ath did not lose the war in April 2003, it transformed a
traditional war where it did not have any chance in a war of guerrilla,
asymmetrical, in which the USA and its accomplices got stuck.
Since its appearance, the propaganda of the Western media to
the orders of Washington tends to impose the fallacious image
of an "islamo-terrorist" resistance.
This propaganda is helped and strengthened, in a more or less
conscious way, by the action of certain trotskists circles, which, in
connection with Iraqi opponents to the Ba'ath, parasitize the
movement of support for Iraqi Resistance and refer to a "plural
resistance", quite as mythical as that invented by the Pentagone
agency.
Since April 2003, we have not rested to restore the truth and to
work with and for the only Resistance which exists on the
ground: that led by our comrades of the clandestine Iraqi Ba'
ath Party. As recently a leader of the clandestine Ba'ath recalled it
to the Jordanian daily newspaper Al MAJD, “It not out of bravado or
out of pretension to say that the Iraqi Resistance is the legitimate
daughter of the Arab Ba’ath Socialist Party, and the principal
element of this heroic Resistance is composed of Ba’ath militants
and Iraqi Army elements, Republican Guards, Security services,
Saddam's Fidayyins and Alquds army. All these components as
everyone knows refer to one political leadership, i.e. that of the Arab
Ba’ath Socialist Party. This is what our people knows and this what
the enemy of our people knows too”.
Today, the myth of " islamist terrorism " breaks down. LE TEMPS,
one of the principal Swiss daily newspapers, writes this day thus
that "A resistance as organized and equipped as that facing
the Americans does not improvise. The ghost of Zarqawi,
unceasingly agitated by Washington fades itself: the Generals
admit that the foreign moudjahidin are far from numerous. The
spinal column of the guerrilla, it is the former Iraqi single
party".
The neo-conservative hawks made a mistake, mortal in politics: that
of underestimating the adversary. They counted the ba'athist
chickens before they are hatched! Disappointment is cruel, it is
paid with the blood of those who are used for the dream of
American-Zionist domination. One of these hawks, William Safire,
writes his disappointment this day in THE INTERNATIONAL
HERALD TRIBUNE :
“I now admit to having expected the War in Iraq to be won in a
matter of months, not years. Saddam Hussein’s plan to disperse his
forces and to conduct a murderous insurgency, was a surprise ".
For those who, like us, knew the true nature of Ba' ath, this Arab
Bolchevism, and its long tradition of clandestine fights, there
was no surprise.
The very same day when Baghdad fell, April 9, 2003, by treason, we
gave clearly and firmly our support for the Ba'ath Party, which went
then underground, and was on the point of organizing the
Resistance. And we firmly affirmed our conviction that the Ba'ath
Party and its militants were going to take the head of this
Resistance, that the military "defeat" was not a defeat, but a
strategic withdrawal, an asymmetrical war, a refusal to be militarily
crushed by a ultra-powerful adversary and a will to transform the
traditional war into a war of guerrilla. In my leading article of "PCNINFOS HEBDO", I wrote on 9 April 2003 (*) what follows: "The
Ba' ath faces today again its destiny. According to the ba' athist
ethics:fighting and without moving back! And on all fronts its leaders
and its militants are worthy of the sacrifices of their predecessors.
One never saw in the history a nomenklatura who died fighting for
its ideas. The heroic resistance of ba' athist Iraq facing the Yankee
imperialism and its colonialist Zionist and British allies proves that
Western propaganda lies! The Ba' ath did remain the revolutionary
Party which overthrew in 1963 and 1968 the bourgeois Reaction.
The Ba' ath finds a new legitimacy within the Arab masses. That is
in the rebuilding of Iraq or the national clandestinity of Resistance,
according to the fate of the weapons, we let us know that they will
be tomorrow where they always were: with the avant-garde! ".
From his American prison,
Saddam Hussein, legitimate
President of Iraq, more combative than ever, launched yesterday
an "Appeal to the Iraqi people", which points out that the policy
and war agenda in Iraq is dictated not by the occupier or the puppet
government of Allawi, the Iraqi Quisling, but by Ba' ath. "What does
this message from the shade say? That the elections are a trap, that
the country must remain united, that resistance must develop. All
those who collaborate with the occupier – even by denouncing
him, like the Shi’a leaders – will be punished by the weapons ",
comments on LE TEMPS. Which adds that "the warnings of those
who advanced in spring 2003 a Vietnamese assumption for Iraq are
confirmed. It does not matter to know if the former dictator, who it is
said is deprived of any external information, is really the author of
the message forwarded by his lawyer. He is the coherent
continuation of the strategy adopted by the Baas party as from
before the war ".
This message is also an answer to the Western journalists who
referred yesterday to a "forgotten Saddam" and other nonsense.
The President-combatant, who shows here that his title was by
no means usurped, is well the man who inspires the guerrilla and
has planned it. On the occasion of the first anniversary of his arrest,
our comrades of the underground Ba' ath Party published a
statement
in which they "greet the comrade leader, great
combatant and resistant in the camp of prisoners, Saddam
Hussein".
Specialist in agitprop, Ba' athists carry out today a splendid
politico-military campaign, a scenario which gives nightmares to
the occupiers and to their accomplices. "The message could not be
clearer, analyzes LE TEMPS. The release of Christian Chesnot and
George Malbrunot occurs at the time when Iraqi resistance inflicts –
in Mossul – its heaviest reverse to the American army, and the day
after bloody attacks in the holy places of Shiism ". The daily
newspaper of Geneva pertinently exposes "the link which can exist
between these three events and a fourth one: the message of
resistance " of Saddam Hussein. "the end of the captivity of the
two journalists, of whom was known that they were alive, is a reward
offered to the most hostile country to the armed intervention against
Saddam Hussein’s regime. The bombs of Najaf and Kerbala are
new warnings to the clergy faithful to the old ayatollah Ali asSistani. The political Shi’a leaders, who have wanted the elections
since the first day of the war and even convinced the turbulent
Moqtada as-Sadr to join (…) This scenario is very precisely
contained in the appeal of Saddam Hussein, that his lawyer has just
published in Amman after having met the prisoner in his cell ".
We can already announce that a new campaign soon will reveal
the real nature of Allawi’s Regime and its corruption.

The Ba'ath guerrilla takes as a starting point two models: the
theories of Mao Zedong for its military aspect and the "patriotic
Grand war" of Marshal Stalin, the model of Saddam Hussein, for
its political and ideological aspects (of which the use of the religious
factor in the reinforcement of patriotism).
Mao planned various stages in the action of the guerrilla,
corresponding to a rise to power related to his increasing
organization. What has just arrived in Mossul is the first
demonstration of a new stage, where strike against the occupier will
intensify, giving rise to a confrontation even more fatal for the
occupier. "This attack without precedent constitutes a serious
reverse for the American forces and their leader Donald Rumsfeld,

ulcerated by the lack of means and the ease of the Pentagone, still

As writes the WASHINGTON POST, "the precision of the attack of
the basis worries the soldiers (…) In April 2003, as the U.S.-led
invasion of Iraq was ending , the Pentagon projected in a formal
planning effort that the U.S. military occupation of the country would
end this month. Instead, December 2004 brought one of the
deadliest single incidents for US forces (…) which reflects at the
same time the persistence of the insurgency and its growing
sophistication. That seems to be based on a precise intelligence.
Most disturbingly, some officers who have served in Iraq worried
that the Mossul attack could mark the beginning of a period of even
more intense violence preceding the Iraqi elections scheduled for
January 30 ".
We can already announce that the ba'athist Résistance will
justify the worst apprehensions of the Yankee roughneck
soldiers.
In a statement published on 9 December 2004 and entitled
"The Ba'ath informs John Abizeid. The occupying army is in
the dead end in which we put it ", in response to the boastings of
the Yankee General published in the WASHINGTON POST, our
comrades of the Ba'ath Party clearly announced the new phase of
the war decided by the leadership of the Resistance: "the forces of
Abizeid became hostages today in time and space on all occupied

whatever the time the confrontation will last. Abizeid knows very
well and before every other that the length of confrontation does not
play in favour of its troops, which the Ba' ath had projected and what
is being carried out today on Iraq soil according to a strategic
objective adopting the armed action as the only choice based on the
liberation and the Resistance (…)Here we would like to explain to
Abizeid that the levels of confrontation, its places and its time are a
Ba’athist choice, that we impose on Abizeid and his troops and on
those of the puppet-government who he hopelessly tries to form and
to rehabilitate. Ba' ath will sweep the forces of the puppetgovernment because they are regarded as belonging to the
infrastructure and are an intermediate objective towards the
strategic objective, which is the total defeat of the troops of Abizeid
or his successor, to liberate Iraq, all Iraq. The U.S. troops and its
allies, which are ordered by Abizeid, will be expelled, defeated or
will be killed by Ba' ath, Ba' athists and the Resistance fighters ".
The Ba'ath, which always keeps to its commitments, also
announced in this statement the action in Mossul: "When Abizeid
speaks about the town of Mossul, because he” refuses” that Mossul
becomes a basis of Resistance, he is mistaken again. Mossul has
been a resistant city since its occupation and resistance never
stopped any moment in Mossul. Its troops, there, in the city, its
villages and its countryside tasted with the Resistance forces, the
fighters and particularly the Ba' athists. Mossul was a witness of the
martyrdom of the comrades Udai, Qusay and Mustafa, Baath
militants and lion cubs of the Comrade Leader, after having given
to the troops of Abizeid a lesson of Iraqi heroism and resistance, of
Ba' athist militancy, faith and Jihad. This is why Mossul is called the
City of Lances, it is a resistant city and it will remain it, until the
liberation of Iraq, all Iraq ".
Bush’s arrogant America is in Iraq facing a dilemma: either
strengthening its military presence – what will imply the
conscription in the USA, for which already pleads Bill Kristol, the
chief ideologist of the neo-conservatives, but which will lead directly
to the end of the Bush Regime –, or seeking a door of exit.
The only possible one, is to bring to the table of negotiations the
ba'athist Resistance, under the control of President Saddam
Hussein, as the command of Resistance in its political program
requires it. A requirement carefully dissimulated in the Western
media to the orders.
This solution is that already
proposed by the French
government, which remembers the fight of French Partisans
against Nazis and Kollabos of Vichy, according to which the
representatives of the armed Resistance should be able to take part
in the conferences provided for in Iraq about the future of the
country. This position was clearly reported by Michel Barnier,
French Minister for foreign Affairs, in an interview on radio FRANCE
INTER.
The ba'athist Resistance, which is in first line facing the AmericanZionist imperialism, gives a lesson of courage, of determination,
but also of hope to all those, militant and people, which, on the
four continents, refuse the colonialist law of Washington and TelAviv. m
I perialism is not discussed, it is fought and it is
crushed! It was already the opinion of Che Guevara. It is ours.

bouquets of roses, red roses, love roses to the Iraqi Resistance. To
the heroes, who are writing shining pages of the history against the
most horrifying blood thirsty Hydra in mythology or in documented
history. And all is happening, again, in Mesopotamia. All is
happening again in Iraq. God bless Iraq for the New Year. Many
more flowers to Saddam Hussein, the living martyr who engineered,
conceived, planned and put into practice the resistance against the
US barbarian invaders in the land of Sinnaar, Sinn, the god full
moon,
Sorry and sorry. I didn't want to spoil this occasion by talking about
the US yobs. They are so far away from any thing noble. They are
so alien to any thing refined, generous and grand. They are so
strange from beauty. They slaughter singing birds, they stamp on
flowers and their army of gangsters happily kills innocent Iraqis of
the age of flowers.
Today, I wanted my most loved Iraqi Resisters to talk to you in a
language of flowers. No other language can possibly be more
appropriate on this occasion. You have been fighting with your faith
filling your hearts the US monster in Mesopotamia, for the last
twenty -four months or so. You will for this New Year, get a special
present. You will have on your heads, above your black beautiful,
Sumerian eyes, on your wheat cloured bodies millions of the river
Tigris banks roses petals.
How can I start, how can I dare talk to you? You who abandoned
the most precious and the dearest, your souls, your young lives,
families and children to carry the cross of your love for Iraq, for the
love of the Iraqi plains, Iraq's mountains, its date palm tree groves,
its sacred soil.
Pardon me but I can't help it! Allow me to talk about the enemy you
are fighting. You have been giving us good news after good news
defeating the enemy of mankind. Here I promise you, even the
gangsters will have more rapped gifts, not surprise ones I admit, it is
a permanent wish, and I'll let you do the rest. We wish for the
mercenaries US and co. hundred more IEDs and thousands more
bullets and many more resounding tactical defeats for Tarzan
Abizeid and more confusion, stuttering, and stammering for the
pirates boss Bush the silly holy and the stupid lump.
Flowers, flowers, flowers. Rains of flowers. Showers of petals.
Clouds of sent and perfume will surround you. Their fragrance will
inhabit the martyrs. Their rain of petals will purify Iraq from the
invaders filth.
Flower language is different from country to country. Here I will use
the French flowers language. The French. Guess why? And let
them stuff their bowls with more and more Abu Ghraib freedom
fries. They will not be able to understand any flower language, be
French, Iraqi or Palestinian! So it is a secret between two lovers,
face to face, it is a whisper under a palm tree, on the plains, in the

Twenty -four flowers, for the twenty -four months we saw the Beast
being humiliated in the mire of the Land-Of-The-Two-Rivers. This

happy year.

shout it on the minarets of Fallujah. I shall scream it on the Assyrian
walls of Nineveh. I beg you to believe me. Here I am hugging in my

Here are mountains of roses, red roses, and here are with my love,
with my tears, with my naked hands, with my prayers, with an
embarrassed sigh, with one handful of the soil of Iraq in one hand
and in the other a spray of tulips from Nineveh, from Mosul. To tell
you how much I love you and to express the joy of my love to you
Iraqi resistant fighters please here are a shower of azaleas. For your
perseverance I will offer you gardens of anemones! For the nights
you don't sleep and the days you never rest, for your outstanding
sacrifices, there are plantations of snapdragons. For the purity of
your love for Iraq, I will spread on your proud foreheads millions of
lilies. For your faith and you fervor, forest of orchids. For your
sincerity, and for your loyalty, please accept, bunches of red
peonies.
While your enemy is hated from the rising sun to the setting sun, the
world over will continue to respect you and to love you Iraqis. So
there will be no chamomile bouquets to declare the end of their love
for you.
Billions of human beings all around the planet are watching you;
they have put all their hope in your courage. They admire your
generosity, they shout waving their hands holding a multitude of
mauve lilacs screaming in rhyme and rhythm, and our hearts are
with you. They kneel in respect for your raging ardor, for vowing
your souls for your beloved Iraq and they shower you and spread on
your feet perfumed carnations or French marigolds. These people
are so proud of you that they are jealous, they would've like to have
your might, your devotion, they would've liked to still carry your
ideals and be able to give their lives for their principles as you do. I
mean a friendly jealousy and they rain on you cyclamens. The
whole planet sees nobody but you Iraqi resistant fighters and make
you signs with millions of daisies and the other half planet respond
singing we love you Iraq and say let's love each other from now on
and they will let you have white lilacs fields spreading to the
horizons.
For the Tigris and the Euphrates coquetry you loved so much and
you still love, lilies of the valleys will grow by the thousands.

For you the most dignified of all, the martyrs, a faithful souvenir and
many bouquets of forget-me-nots. For your shed blood for the
multitude of humanity, irises from tender hearts. Your martyrdom
offered security and pride to Iraq and we cover your holy tombs, the
shrines of your remains, with mimosas. The humanity, will give you
rendezvous, with my overwhelming heart, soon very soon, God
willing, in liberated Iraq, holding tight against my breath, covered
with my tears, overcoming my fears, many fears, fields of gladiolas.
Yes, you can reproach all your Arab brothers who once said we
didn't believe you, by offering them sweet peas. These Arabs who
were devastated to see Iraq occupied and have doubted one
second in your courage and determination, give them a handful of
buttercups. As for those who love you immensely in their heart and
hide their love because of tyrant regimes and eunuchs kinglets, they
will send you soon tons of violets.
And for the living martyr Saddam Hussein twenty five million date
palm trees.

passe en Mésopotamie. Tous se passe encore une fois en Irak.

pour Saddam Hussein, le martyr vivant, qui a conçu, mis au point et
planifié la résistance contre les envahisseurs barbares, dans le

êtes battus, cela va faire vingt quatre mois presque, avec votre foi
et vos mains nues contre le monstre US en Mésopotamie. Vous
aurez pour le nouvel an, un présent des plus uniques. Sur vos têtes
une pluie de millions de roses provenant des rives du fleuve Tigre,
et sur vos beaux yeux de sumériens, sur vos corps couleurs de blé,
des nuées de pétales de roses.
Comment oserai-je vous adresser la parole ? Par où et d'où
devrais-je commencer ? Vous, qui avez abandonné le plus cher, et
le plus précieux ! Trésors de jeunesse, trésors de chaleur des
foyers, trésors d'enfants pour porter votre croix pour l'amour de
l'Irak, pour l'amour des plaines de l'Irak, pour l'amour des palmiers
de l'Irak, pour l'amour du sol sacré de l'Irak !
Pardon, mais je ne peux m'en empêcher d'en parler ! De parler de
l'ennemi que vous combattez ! Tout au cours de ces deux ans, vous
êtiez pour nous des anges messagers de bonnes nouvelles ! Tous
les jours vous humiliez les US, l'ennemi du genre humain. Ici, et
pour cette occasion, l'ennemi aussi mérite un cadeau, plus de
cadeaux. Des cadeaux joliement emballés. Vous savez mieux que

avons vu devant nos yeux la Bête humiliée, raillée et embourbée

sans relâche, pour vos sacrifices admirables, j'irai, je volerai pour
vous des plantations entières de gueueles-de-loups. A cause de la
purité de l'amour que vous avez pour l'Irak, j'arroserai vos fronts
dignes et fiers de milliers de lilas. Pour votre ferveur amoureuse de

l'Irak, j'irai voler des forêts d'orchidées. Pour votre sincérité, pour
votre loyauté, acceptez, je vous prie, des gerbes de pivoines.
Alors que votre ennemi, l'ennemi de l'humanité est haï du coucher
au lever du soleil, le monde entier continue de vous respecter et de
vous rendre hommage et de vous aimer et pour toujours, irakiens..
Alors il n'y aura point de bouquets d'anthémis pour terminer un
amour si fort.
Des milliards d'êtres humains à travers la planète vous observent.
Ils ont placé tout leur espoir en vous et en votre courage. Ils
admirent votre générosité, ils crient tenant dans leurs mains une
multitude de lilas mauves chantant en rythme en rime, nos coeurs
sont avec vous. Ils s'agenouillent devant votre ardeur brûlante, pour
avoir voué vos corps et vos âmes pour votre bien-aimé Irak et ils
vous arrosent et éparpillent sur vos têtes et à vos pieds des gerbes
d'oeillets. En fait ils sont jaloux d'une jalousie secrète et amicale. Ils
auraient voulu tellement avoir votre détermination, votre force et
votre foi. Ils auraient aimé posséder des principes comme les
vôtres et être capables de les défendre au point de donner sa vie,
comme vous, et ils vous innondent de cyclamens. Une moitié de la
planète ne voit que vous, Résistence irakienne et vous accueillent
avec des millions de marguerites. L'autre moitié lui répond nous
t'aimons Irak et aimons-nous, que la paix soit sur la terre, le
monstre US n'est plus; et vous offrent irakiens des champs de lilas
blancs étendus aux extrémités de l'horizon.
Pour la coquetterie délicieuse du Tigre et l'Euphrate que vous aimez
tant, des muguets pousseront par milliers sur leurs rives
enchanteresses.
Pour les plus dignes, les plus valeureux; les plus présents de parmi
nous, tous les martyrs..un souvenir fidèle, des bouquets et des
bouquets de myosotis. Pour le sang pur, votre sang répandu pour le

et offrez leur des pois de senteur. Ces mêmes frères arabes,
dévastés de voir la bien-aimé Bagdad souillée et occupé, et qui ont
douté pour quelques temps de votre courage et de votre
détermination, donnez leur quelques poignées de renoncules.
Quant à ceux qui vous aiment immensément en leur coeurs, mais
n'osent point vous el déclarer et vous le dire à cause des régimes
arabes de tyrans et du fait des roitelets eunuques.., ils vont vous
l'annoncer très bientôt, en public avec des tonnes de violettes.

hometown of Tikrit, officials said.
"There is a level of tactical coordination and direction that still
comes from the remnants of the Baath Party, and I believe a
certain amount of this tactical coordination effort is
orchestrated from Syria," said Abizaid, the Central Command
chief who is directing the war in Iraq.
Military officials have conceded that they have limited information on
the insurgency due to a lack of reliable intelligence reports. In some
cases, unconfirmed tips have come from questionable sources. In
others, the information is too dated to allow U.S. forces to track
suspected insurgent leaders, officials said.
But military leaders said they had been receiving more tips on the
insurgency and higher-quality reports in recent weeks.
"We have focused the intelligence system on these 34 guys in
the belief that if there is an emerging leadership structure for
the former regime element movement that these 34 guys will be
holding the reins," said another senior military official, who spoke
on condition of anonymity.
The new information has allowed military strategists to better
discern the face of the insurgency, officials said, and has painted a
portrait of guerrillas led by former regime officials who are
predominantly Sunni Muslim.
U.S. military officials say recent evidence suggested that former
members of Hussein's elite fighting units have been involved in
attacks on U.S. troops.
"We see that a lot of the attacks that are going on right now
show evidence that they were planned and executed by those
who had a military background," said Air Force Brig. Gen. Erv
Lessel, a deputy to Gen. George W. Casey, the top U.S.
commander in Iraq. "There are some former Republican Guard
and Special Republican Guard that are involved in these
attacks."
U.S. military officials say the insurgency appears to lack a central
leader, although they believe that former Gen. Izzat Ibrahim, one
of Hussein's top aides, has directed many attacks against the
U.S.-led coalition in the Tikrit area.
"There are former regime element organizational meetings. But
there is no sort of grand pooh-bah that sits atop of this thing.
There's no Saddam-like figure to whom they have allegiance

and who is in overall charge of the insurgency," a senior
defense official said.
Citing intelligence reports, senior U.S. military officials said Ibrahim
and other former Baath Party members met near the Syrian
border in November to plan strategy.
Also present at that meeting, officials said, were Mahdi Nasr
Ubeidi, who supervises financial dealings; Mohammed Younis,
who has acted as Ibrahim's assistant from a base east of
Baghdad; Ahmed Hassan Kaka, an insurgent leader in the
northern city of Kirkuk; Ramadan Zaidan Jaburi, Kaka's
assistant; Mohammed Rijab Haddushi Nasser, the leader of the
group's operations in Tikrit and nearby Baiji; and Yassir
Sabawi Ibrihim Hassan, a courier.
The Baathist leaders are believed to be financing the
insurgency with billions of dollars that Hussein officials allegedly
grabbed from government coffers in the final days before the
government fell, officials said.
Abizaid and other military strategists believe that leaders of these
groups also determine tactics to be used against coalition and
Iraqi forces (...) ”

Spécialiste de l’Irak et du Ba’ath, Gilles Munier, dans AFI-FLASH
(n° 38 - 5 janvier 2005), confirme les informations publiées par les
« Comités Irak » depuis 2003 concernant la direction et l’identité
ba’athiste de la Résistance irakienne – informations également
confirmées par le commandement US en Irak (cfr. Notre revue de
presse anglaise de ce n°) - et dégonfle également la « baudruche
Zarquaoui » :
Extraits : « Parler de « guérilleros », d’ « insurgés », ou même de «
rebelles » pour qualifier les patriotes irakiens, est évidement mieux
que de les appeler « bandits », « barbares », « criminels » ou «
terroristes » comme le font les Américains et leurs supplétifs
irakiens. On comprend que le mot « résistant » leur reste en travers
de la gorge, mais pas que des hommes politiques français, ou des
journalistes sans fil à la patte, hésitent encore à désigner les
combattants irakiens par leur nom.
En Irak, la résistance – en arabe : Al Moqawama - existe, se
développe et s’organise, n’en déplaise à ses détracteurs. Si les
Américains attribuent ses opérations militaires au Jordanien Abou
Mussab Al Zarqaoui, devenu selon eux le correspondant
d’Oussama Ben Laden, c’est pour minimiser la colère qui gronde,
réduire le conflit à une chasse aux terroristes.
Le mystère Zarqaoui
On se souvient qu’officiellement la dernière bataille de Falloujah a
été déclenchée pour éliminer Al Zarqaoui. En fait, la ville était aux
mains des patriotes, et notamment du parti Baas clandestin,
autrement plus représentatif que l’organisation théoriquement
dirigée par le Jordanien. Au final, après de multiples
bombardements prétendument ciblés, un siège de plusieurs jours,
l’assaut des Marines, la destruction de la ville et le massacre d’une
partie de ses habitants, Zarqaoui n’a pas été trouvé. S’il existe,
l’homme semble insaisissable. Cette fois, comme dans une bande
dessinée américaine, il se serait enfui grâce à un tunnel passant
sous les lignes américaines ! Aux dernières nouvelles, il se serait
installé à Mossoul, nouvelle cible de l’armée américaine. Comme
par hasard…
Personne ne sait si Zarqaoui est vivant. Ses anciens compagnons
d’armes affirment qu’il est mort au Kurdistan lors du bombardement
d’un camp d’Ansar Al-Islam par l’US Air Force, quelques semaines
avant l’agression contre l’Irak. Invérifiable ! Oui, mais tout aussi
invérifiable le rapport de la CIA le tenant pour simplement blessé et
accusant le « régime de Saddam Hussein » de l’avoir amputé d’une
jambe dans un hôpital de Bagdad.
A l’époque, la CIA cherchait à prouver l’existence de liens entre
Saddam Hussein et Al Qaïda. Les Américains n’avaient rien trouvé
de mieux que de laisser les Kurdes d’Ansar Al-Islam de retour
d’Afghanistan via l’Iran, ouvrir des camps d’entraînement au nord de
Halabja. La ficelle était grosse car Bagdad ne contrôlait pas la zone
et ne pouvait être tenu pour responsable de ce qui s’y passait. Le
Pentagone refusait d’aider Jalal Talabani à les éliminer, si bien que
Tarek Aziz me confia un jour que le gouvernement irakien avait
donné au chef kurde opposant les armes qu’il demandait pour
reconquérir la poche islamiste. Quelques jours avant la chute de
Bagdad, interpellé par un journaliste, le Vice-Premier ministre
irakien niait que Zarqaoui ait été soigné en Irak.
Depuis, le mystère Zarqaoui s’est encore épaissi. L’apparition sur
une bande vidéo d’un individu masqué égorgeant le jeune Nicolas
Berg, n’est pas convaincante. L’homme désigné par les Américains
comme étant l’islamiste jordanien, ne semblait pas handicapé et
portait curieusement au poignet une montre ou une gourmette en
or, ce qui est contraire aux convictions religieuses des salafistes.
A vrai dire, en Irak, personne n’a jamais vu Abou Mussab Al
Zarqaoui, pas plus les habitants de Bagdad, de Kut, de Bassora,
que ceux de Falloujah, villes où les services secrets américains ont
signalé sa présence. Les Irakiens disent que son nom sert à
camoufler toutes sortes de provocations. Reconnaître qu’il est mort,
ou qu’il n’a pas l’importance qu’on lui prête, rendrait plus difficile la
tâche des propagandistes qui expliquent que la résistance n’existe
pas et que le parti Baas est totalement discrédité.
Une bombe à retardement
Les Américains n’ont pas seulement en face d’eux un peuple qui
réagit à leur occupation. Ils ont contre eux un mouvement de
résistance qui, sous des noms divers, est dans sa majorité une
émanation du parti Baas clandestin. L’existence de ce noyau dur
atténue les rivalités et permet aux autres sensibilités patriotiques –
notamment nassériennes et communistes - de se regrouper pour
lutter contre l’occupation. Même les organisations dites islamistes
comme l’Armée de Mohammad, coopèrent étroitement avec la
direction baassiste décentralisée, dirigé par Izzat Ibrahim Al-Douri
depuis août dernier.
Comme l’invasion de l’Irak était pour ainsi dire annoncée depuis la
première guerre du Golfe, le gouvernement irakien a eu plus de dix
ans pour se préparer. L’Armée d’Al-Qods qui faisait sourire les
journalistes occidentaux, a permis de sélectionner et de former parmi 7 millions d’Irakiens - des milliers de résistants potentiels. Ils
composent aujourd’hui l’infrastructure des cellules combattantes.
Des officiers des moukhabarat sortis des meilleures écoles
militaires soviétiques, d’Europe de l’Est ou du Vietnam, ont mis en
place des réseaux, des caches d’armes et d’argent. Ils encadrent la
résistance, adaptant à la Mésopotamie les enseignements du
Général Giap.
Le sénateur américain Norm Coleman (R-Minnesota) a raison de
dire que le président Saddam Hussein a détourné l’embargo pour

amasser des fonds qui servent aujourd’hui à combattre les EtatsUnis (Le Monde – 2/12/04). C’était son droit et son devoir de chef
d’Etat. Il faut être de mauvaise foi pour le lui reprocher, car l’Irak ne
possédait plus d’armes de destruction massive et les sanctions
n’étaient imposées que pour affaiblir ce pays et permettre aux
forces américaines de le conquérir avec un minimum de perte.
(…) nul ne devrait contester aujourd’hui que c’est grâce à la
stratégie adoptée par ses dirigeants : renouveau islamique, 10 000
ans d’histoire magnifiée, respect des traditions ancestrales ; le tout
couronné par l’esprit d’organisation et la foi nationaliste arabe des
cadres baassistes.
Quelle que soit la suite des événements, y compris une guerre civile
provoquée, il faut savoir que tout a été fait pour permettre à une
nouvelle génération d’Irakiens d’affronter la plus grande puissance
du monde. Pour qui n’en connaît pas les mécanismes secrets, l’Irak
est une bombe à retardement. En d’autres temps d’autres
envahisseurs ont compris ce que cela signifiait. Aujourd’hui, les
Américains n’en sont qu’au début de leurs déboires. »
