The Lycée has existed since 1807 in Tours as a high school, and settled in
the Grand Séminaire Saint-Charles, the heart of its current base. The
Lycée became mixed in 1969, and then receives girls from the Lycée
Balzac (High School for Girls). By decree of 15 December 1888, the high
school tooks the name of Lycée Descartes. It appears in the general
inventory of cultural heritage.
Access to TOURS


From CDG airport: direct TGV train or RER line B to gard du
Nord (RER/metro) and line 4 to Montparnasse station. TGV to
Tours/Saint Pierre des Corps (1 hour)
From Orly airport: Orlyval, connection at Antony for RER line B
to Massy (RER/TGV) and TGV to Saint-Pierre des Corps (50
min). Than take the train shuttle for Tours (center, 10 min).
Scope
The aim of this seminar is to promote direct exchange information
between researchers from the two FP7 programs and scientists from
university and industry involved in the field of lithium batteries.
