Indications: An emollient hoof packing that can be used as an aid in preventing drying of the horny tissues, in case
of contracted heels and hardening frog; and as an aid in keeping them moist and pliable.
Indications: L’onguent pour les sabots est utilisé pour prévenir l’assèchement des tissus cornés, ainsi que dans les
cas d’encastelure et de durcissement de la fourchette. Aide à conserver la souplesse du pied du cheval.
Directions for Use: Make sure hoof is thoroughly CLEAN and DRY. Pack in around frog. Spread layer over sole and
cover with paper. Apply two or three times a week. For easier application in cold weather, keep where warm.
Mode d’emploi: S’assurer de la propreté des sabots avant d’appliquer la solution. Bourrer autour de la fourchette.

How to pack a hoof:
Comment emballer un sabot:
1. Make sure hoof is clean and
dry. Take a small amount of
Forshner’s® Hoof Packing
(about the size of a golf ball)
and work in your hands until
pliable.

totalement PROPRE et sec.

2. Pack firmly around the frog.

3. Continue to cover sole of
hoof completely. (Cover
with paper or straw if
needed.*)
