Canadian Cornea, External Disease and Refractive
Surgery Society
Société canadienne de la cornée, des maladies externes
et de la chirurgie réfractive
Objectives:
Many important advances have occurred in the diagnosis and management of
medical and surgical diseases of the cornea and anterior segment, and in the
realm of refractive surgery. This meeting will provide an overview of the more significant advances that have occurred.
At the end of this meeting the participants should:
1) know about new ocular anti-infective therapy and the practical application
of these medications in their practice;
2) know how to diagnose, manage and possibly prevent certain refractive surgery complications; and
3) know about new techniques in corneal transplantation, including deep
anterior lamellar keratoplasty and deep lamellar endothelial keratoplasty.
