Payments
Any final cash payments can be paid in Euro only. No credit cards or travel checks will be accepted
Cancellation Fees
Cancellation fees for rooms booked in excess, will depend on the rules of each Hotel, plus all
related expenses. Amounts already paid will be returned as per the rules of each Hotel.
The 50% of the Registration fee for competitors and officials is considered NOT REFUNDABLE, but,
can be used for the final payment fees of the remaining members of the team.
Lunch in the Archery venue
The Archery Venue is equipped with a Self Service Restaurant and a Bar providing meals, snacks
and beverages. Through the final registration form, M.A. can book and pay all the meals ordered,
which will be served in the Self Service restaurant.
Free mineral water will be available on the official practice day and competition days.

Transport
Distance from Milan Malpensa Airport to Turin is about 130 Km; from Torino Caselle Airport to the
center of the city is less than 20 Km; all the three Turin trainstations are located not far from
center of the city.
The “Oval Lingotto” (Archery venue) is about 3 km from the center of Turin and the majority of
the Hotels is within 5 km from the Archery venue.
The transports from and to Torino Caselle Airport and Turin train stations to the hotels is free of
charge.
From Milano Malpensa a returntransport costs Euro 60.,- for other airports please ask for the
price.
A free shuttle bus service to the Archery venue will be available to all registered participants
from and to the hotels during the competition days.
Closing Party
The closing Party will be held on March, 8th at 21:00 hrs.
Transport to and from the party-location is included in the registration fee.
The closing party is free of charge. There will be music and dancing is possible.
Non-alcoholic beverages are free of charge.
The Archery venue
The Archery venue is located inside the Palace “Oval Lingotto”, built and used for the
competitions of Torino 2006 Winter Olympic Games. It will consist of a qualification field, a
training field and a special field for the finals and very large areas for visitors.
Inside the building there will be areas for each national team for secured storage of spare
equipment.
The “Oval Lingotto” is equipped with restaurant, bar, shopping and display areas, closed circuit
TV, big TV screen, Internet Wi-Fi hot spots.
Training Facilities
The training field is separated from the other fields within the Palace “Oval Lingotto” and it will be
continuously operative from 10:00 to 18:30 hrs from March 4th to March, 8th.
Teams arriving earlier than March 3rd will have the possibility to get into contact with several
Turin-Province Archery Clubs in order to train. Please, let us know your request in order to
arrange the best solution.
Tourist Tours
Organizing Committee will provide you the possibility to have Tourist Tours around the City with
stops close to the famous museums (Egyptian museum, Cinema museum, Modern Art museum,
Car museum, Renaissance museum), Palaces (Madama palace, Royal castle, Valentino’s castle,
Mole Antonelliana), squares (Vittorio square, Castle square, San Carlo square) and shopping
streets (Roma street, Po street, Garibaldi street).
It will be possible to taste some of the most characteristic ethnic-gastronomic specialities like
chocolate (gianduoitto), tartufo, wine (Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera, Grignolino, Moscato), cheese
(Toma, Robiola) in honour of the most worldwide important food event “Salone del Gusto” hold in
Turin every two years.
Competitors will have a full day off in order to benefit of these offers.

M.A.’s needing VISA, are requested to send us all details related to each VISA’s applicant at least
40 days before the planned arrival date.
The Organizing Committee will assist in the request of VISA trough FITARCO and the Italian
Olympic Committee only, when the FINAL REGISTRATION and related payments are in the

E M A U PARTICIPATION WAIVER AND COMPETITORS AGREEMENT
Torino 2008 11th Indoor Archery European Championships
This form needs to be signed by all the athletes before they can be accredited at the event.
The event detailed in the document heading will be referred to as “The Event”.
As in any sporting event, athletes always run the risk of injury or worse.
Therefore, the following waiver is currently required for participation.
Archery is no different.
In consideration of my involvement in The Event, I acknowledge and agree that:
1. I understand that participation in archery competition may involve risk of bodily injury, including but
not limited to paralysis, dismemberment or even death, as well as loss of or damage to property.
2. I fully understand such dangers and knowingly and freely assume all such risk, and
3. I for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns and next of kin, hereby release, hold harmless and
promise not to sue EMAU, their Officers, Officials, Organisers, Agents, Sponsors and/or Employees
and/or other representatives ("The EMAU Agents"), with respect to any and all such injury, paralysis,
dismemberment, death and/or loss or damage arising from my participation in the except that which
is resultant of gross negligence and/or willful or wanton misconduct by EMAU and/or EMAU agents.
4. I promise to abide by all EMAU rules, regulations, decisions and rulings, including without limitation
all those relating to doping or use of drugs. I agree to submit all disputes or claims of any nature
relating to the Event (including without limitation its conduct, sponsorship and my participation
therein), EMAU rules, regulations, rulings and decisions on all subjects to binding arbitration before
the Court of Arbitration for Sport under its statutes and regulations.
5. The sponsors of The Event and EMAU may use my photograph, image, name or nick name for the
promotion of the Event, EMAU or archery events. EMAU Sponsors or Partners may use my name and
likeness to describe any prizes given by Sponsors or Partners without implying any endorsement of
their product or service. This use may not include any endorsement by me. I am free to negotiate
these endorsements on my own.
6. I will accept any prizes or awards given to me by EMAU or the sponsors of The Event for my
participation, and I will attend all special award ceremonies at which prizes or awards are presented.
7. If I am invited to attend a press conference by the EMAU Press Officer or his representative I will
without any delay attend this conference. I acknowledge that by not doing so sanctions may be
imposed.

Ce formulaire doit être signé par tous les athlètes avant qu’ils puissent être accrédités.
La
Manifestation mentionnée en tête de ce document sera désignée dans ce qui suit par «La Manifestation».
Comme dans toute compétition sportive, les athlètes courent toujours le risque de blessure ou pire. Le tir
à l’arc n’est pas différent. En conséquence, la décharge suivante vous est demandée à vous, compétiteur,
pour votre participation à la Manifestation.
Considérant que la EMAU et/ou l’organisateur m’autorise à participer à la Manifestation, je reconnais et
accepte que:
1. Participer ou assister à des compétitions de tir à l’arc constitue pour moi un risque de dommage
corporel, y compris invalidité, perte d’un membre, voire décès, ainsi que de perte ou dommage à mes
biens.
2. Je suis pleinement conscient des dangers énumérés ci-dessus, et j’accepte en connaissance de cause
et librement de courir ce risque.
3. Pour moi et au nom de mes héritiers, ayant-droits et parents proches, je renonce par la présente aux
dommages et intérêts et aux poursuites légales ou autres actions et dégage la responsabilité de la
EMAU, ses dirigeants, officiels, membres, sponsors, employés et/ou autres représentants (“les agents
de la EMAU) en ce qui concerne toute blessure, invalidité, perte de membre ou accident mortel et/ou
pertes ou dommages en rapport avec et/ou dus à ma participation à la Manifestation, à moins qu’ils ne
soient dus à une négligence grossière et/ou à une action délibérée de la part de la EMAU ou des agents
de la EMAU.
4. Je promets de me soumettre à toutes les règles, réglementations, décisions de EMAU, incluant sans
limitation toutes celles en relations avec le dopage ou l’usage de drogues. J’accepte de soumettre tous
litiges ou réclamations de toute nature en relation avec la Manifestation (incluant sans limitation son
déroulement, son parrainage, et ma participation à ceux-ci), les règles, réglementations et décisions
de la EMAU sur tous les sujets d’arbitrage devant le Tribunal Arbitral du Sport selon ses statuts et
réglementations.
5. Les Sponsors de la Manifestation ont l’autorisation d’utiliser mes photographies, images, noms ou
surnom pour la promotion de la Manifestation, de EMAU ou de manifestations de tir à l’arc. Les
Sponsors ou Partenaires de la EMAU ont l’autorisation d’utiliser mon nom et mon image pour décrire
tout prix remis par les Sponsors ou les Partenaires sans que cela implique quelconque caution de leur
produit ou service. Cet usage ne peut inclure aucun engagement de ma part. Je suis libre de négocier
ces engagements de mon propre chef.
6. J’accepterai tout prix ou récompense qui me seraient remis par la EMAU ou par les sponsors de la
Manifestation pour ma participation, et je prendrai part à toutes les cérémonies spéciales lors
desquelles des prix et des récompenses seront remis.
7. Si je suis invité par le Chef de Presse de la EMAU ou son représentant à participer à une conférence de
presse, je prendrai part à cette conférence sans retard. Je suis averti que si je ne suis pas ces
directives, des sanctions pourront m’être imposées.

FITA ANTI-DOPING AGREEMENT
(FITA Constitution and Rules, Book 1, Appendix 12)

I, as a member of a Member Association of FITA or participating in a FITA authorized or recognized event,
hereby acknowledge and agree as follows:
1.
I have received information on the FITA Anti-Doping Rules (*) and had an opportunity to review
them.
2.
I consent and agree to comply with and be bound by all of the provisions of the FITA Anti-Doping
Rules (*), including but not limited to, all amendments to the Anti-Doping Rules (*) and all International
Standards* incorporated in the Anti-Doping Rules.
3.
I consent and agree to the creation of my profile in WADA Doping Control Clearing House (ADAMS)
and/or any other authorized National Anti-doping Organisations (NADOs) similar system under FITA’s
agreement for the sharing of information, and to the entry on my doping control and Therapeutic Use
Exemptions related data in such systems.

I acknowledge and agree that FITA and its Member Associations have jurisdiction to impose
sanctions as provided in the FITA Anti-Doping Rules (*).

I also acknowledge and agree that any dispute arising out of a decision made pursuant to the FITA
Anti-Doping Rules (*), after exhaustion of the process expressly provided for in the FITA Anti-Doping
Rules (*), may be appealed exclusively as provided in Article 13 of the FITA Anti-Doping Rules (*) to an
appellate body for final and binding arbitration, which in the case of International-Level Athletes is the
Court of Arbitration for Sport.
6.
I acknowledge and agree that the decisions of the arbitral appellate body referenced above shall
be final and enforceable, and that I will not bring any claim, arbitration, lawsuit or litigation in any other
court or tribunal.

Article 3.13.2.1:
An intention to appeal when it might affect the progression of an athlete from one stage of the competitoin to the next, must be expressed in writing
and lodged with the Chairperson of the Tournament Judge Commission and/or the Jury within 5 minutes of the end of the relevant round or match,
whichever comes first. The written appeal must be lodged with the Jury within 15 minutes of the end of the relevant round or match, whichever
comes first, to allow the Jury to come to a decision before the beginning of the next round of the competition.
