Was auf den ersten Blick aussieht wie eine simple Unterlage, erweist sich bei näherer
Betrachtung als kleines „High Tech“-Produkt: Eine 5 mm starke, extrem saugfähige Spezialmatte aus Polypropylen absorbiert in latexkaschierten Microkavernen die
ausgetretene Säure und neutralisiert diese durch starke eingearbeitete Neutralisatoren, zudem dämpft die Unterlage auch ganz erheblich hochfrequente Schwingungen
und direkte Stösse und verlängert so die Lebernsdauer Ihrer Batterie. Der heimliche
Rostfrass an uneinsehbarer Stelle hat damit ein Ende. (Schade eigentlich, denn Batterieträger und Bleche aus unserem Angebot sind der Renner.) So wird auch sicher
die Bildung von Säurenebel verhindert, der sich gerne im Heiss und Kalt unter der
Motorhaube bildet und alles korrodieren lässt.

Einbauanleitung
1. Optimale Wirksamkeit erreichen Sie, indem Sie an den Seiten, falls gewünscht,
etwas „Zulage“ geben, dies verbessert den Aufnahmevorgang, erhöht die Aufnahmekapazität und schafft somit eine Sicherheitsreserve.
2. Die Batteriematte lässt sich mit jedem scharfen Messer oder einer Schere leicht
zuschneiden. Den Verschnitt können Sie bedenkenlos entsorgen, das Material ist
völlig umweltverträglich.
3. Nach dem Ausbau der Batterie die zugeschnittene Batteriematte einlegen, die bedruckte Seite bitte nach oben, da die Unterseite versiegelt ist.
4. Batterie darauf plazieren und mit den vorhandenen Haltern wieder sicher befestigen.

Tapis de batterie
At a first glance it looks like a simple pad, a bit closer look reveals a small „high tech“
product. About 5 mm thick, a super absorbent polypropylen needle punch felt sealed
with a latex binder traps the acid. It‘s unique construction allows the battery mat to
trap and contain acid while its powerful neutralizing agents start to work immediately
to counterbalance the hazardous effects of the lead acid. As a side effect the battery
mat has a strong shockabsorbing effect, such preventing damage and premature failure of the battery, caused by high frequent vibrations and direct shocks. The hidden
deterioration has an end (it‘s a pity as battery trays use to be top selling so far ...),
also the emergence of the most harmful acid-aerosols under the bonnet is prevented,
largest enemy to all the beautiful work been done in the engine bay ...

Ce qui ressemble au premier abord à un simple tapis s’avère être en fait un produit très performant. Ce tapis d’une épaisseur de 5 mm en polypropylène absorbe
dans des cavités microscopiques dissimulées sous du latex l’electrolyte sortant de
la batterie. Les capteurs très bien incorporés permettent ensuite de neutraliser cet
électrolyte. Par ailleurs ce tapis amortit les fortes vibrations et les chocs permettant
ainsi de prolonger la durée de vie de la batterie. La progression de la rouille dans
les endroits les plus difficiles d’accès est enfin stoppée (dommage pour nous car
nos tôles ou supports de batterie se vendent très bien !) La formation de brouillard
d’électrolyte, se déposant à l’état chaud ou froid sous le capot et responsable de la
corrosion, est ainsi évitée.

1. To enhance your battery mat potential for absorbing acid, it should be cut to a size
that will provide a skirt area on each side of your battery. To determine the proper
size for your battery mat, measure the length and width figures.
2. Using a pair of scissors cut the battery mat to the dimensions you determined in
Step 1. Discard the leftover portion of the battery mat in atrash receptacle.
3. Unbolt and remove the battery‘s „hold down clamp“. The hold down clamp might
be on the topside of the battery or it may be located at the base of the battery.
4. With the clamp removed, raise the battery enough to place the battery mat directly
under your battery. Painted „battery mat“ side up!
5. After making certain that the battery is replaced in its proper location, reposition
and secure the battery clamp.
1. Vous améliorez l’efficacité et la capaçité d’absorption en prenant un peu plus de
tapis sur les côtés et vous avez de cette façon une réserve de sécurité.
2. Le tapis de batterie peut être facilement découpé avec un couteau très tranchant.
Les chutes peuvent être jetées dans les ordures normales car il s’agit d’un matériau non polluant.
3. Après avoir démonté la batterie, poser le tapis en mettant le côté imprimé ver le
haut, l’autre côté est scellé.
4. Poser la batterie sur le tapis et fixer la de façon sûre avec les fixations disponibles
5. Une couche double de „battery mat“ permet de doubler évidemment l‘effet
souhaité!
