Service Box : Launch of the notifier to inform of the updating of Technical
Assistance (aftersales), Spare Parts (PR), Warranty, CRG and CRI/FAS tickets
This note presents the notifier, it describes the installation instructions and the functions.
1. Context and Objective :
Following network feedback made during the various satisfaction surveys,
Automobiles Peugeot is making available a major development to its network that
allows the dealerships to be informed more quickly of a response for Technical
Assistance (Aftersales), PR, Warranty, CRG or CRI/FAS tickets. This is to improve
the immobilisation/downtime of vehicles, and therefore, customer satisfaction.
2. Benefits:
Inform the authorised repairer or the spare parts distributor that one of its
technical assistance, PR, Warranty or CRG tickets has been updated through the
solution field, or inform the AR that it has one or several CRI/FAS reports to
complete.
3. Access to the application :
The application can be installed from Service Box, in the ‘Incidents and solutions’
tab, then ‘Tracking support tickets’.

By clicking on « Downloading of the Notifier », the recuperation process is activated.
A dialogue box is displayed and indicates the characteristics of the file to download.
Click on the « Run » button in order to continue the process.

Click on the « Next » button in order to continue the process.
The next step is to select the Notifier installation folder. The folder proposed by default
may be modified by clicking on the « Browse » button. A dialogue box is displayed
in
order to select the local folder in which you may wish to install the programme.
Then click on the Next button.

In the next step, the technical resources which are going to be installed on the PC
terminal are shown. These resources displayed for the notifier are compulsory and
cannot be unticked.
Click on the « Next » button in order to continue the installation.

On the next step, it is possible to create short-cuts on the desktop and in the Computer
menu. Tick the boxes of the 2 first lines and apply it to all the declared users on the
computer (« All users »). This makes the notifier available to all the people using this
computer.
Click on the « Done » button to finish the installation.

b) Launching the notifier :
The software is then available in the « Start / All programmes » Windows menu or on the
desktop:
Once launched, a pictogram is added to the task bar at the bottom right side. It is
equipped with the logo related to the installed version:
c) Configuring the notifier :
To configure the notifier, click on the right button of the mouse and scroll over the
pictogram available in the task bar.
Click on Options.

Then the notifier control panel will be displayed:
The control panel has 5 sections:
1) Select the language for the notifier. In order to identify you and your garage, it
is necessary to enter your identifier and password. The identifier and password
are compulsory. Without this information, the configuration will be considered
as incorrect:
NOTE: for each change of password, it will have to be re-inserted.
2) Indicate to the notifier how it must request the tickets, via an intranet or
Internet connection.
By ticking the ‘Start with Windows’ box, the notifier will be launched each time
your PC is started.
The last line configures the time interval between each request in order to check if
a ticket has been updated.

3) Configure the type of tickets for which you wish to receive the notifications,
according to your profile.
The 4 technical areas are covered (After-sales, Spare Parts, Warranty or CRI/FAS) :
The tracking of CRI/FAS tickets will only be operational when the new « Incidents –
Assistance » tab has been deployed in your country.
Note that the deployment may be in progress in certain countries for the Warranty and CRG
activities.

5) There are 4 action buttons present :
The Search for update button allows the latest version of the notifier to be
downloaded.
The Test button may be used to check that the defined configuration is
operational and functional.
The Start button allows you to make unitary search for modified tickets. A single
launched request does not interfere with the launched requests at regular
intervals.
The Close button can be used to close the configuration window.

d) Notification of an updated ticket
The pop-up appears as shown below:
If you click on the ticket n°, it opens Service Box showing the ticket details in order to
consult the solution. This stops the notification on this ticket.
If you click the « OK » button, without consulting the ticket on Service Box, the pop-up
closes but a new follow-up will be displayed in the time period set by the user.
