Hotel Accommodation

as requested in your registration forms.
For everyone staying at these hotels, breakfast is included and all other meals will be provided within the
summit schedule.
Social activities
Visit and dinner at the Atomium, sponsored by Microsoft.
After the first day, we will enjoy a visit of the Atomium and will
also have dinner in the restaurant situated at the top of this
symbol of Europe’s Capital.
The visit will lead us to the different spheres open to the public.
The comments relate to the history of the Atomium (from
construction to renovation) and the secrets of Expo58
(permanent exhibition).

Other practical issues

Currency:
The Euro is the currency of Belgium. Cash can be exchanged at banks and foreign exchange offices during
office hours. The official exchange rate is listed daily at banks and exchange offices. To check the exact
exchange rate, please go to http://www.xe.com/ucc/. All major credit cards are accepted at most hotels,
restaurants and stores.

Internet access:
Internet access in hotel rooms, lobby and in the conference area is wireless and free.

Dress Code:
Dress Code for Summit and Atomium visit and Dinner is business-casual.

HOW TO GET FROM THE HOTELS TO THE CONFERENCE BUILDING
From Hôtel Aqua
1. Go down the street (Rue de Stassart) to the right and turn left on Rue des Drapiers
(Distance : 200 mètres –Travel time : 3 minutes)
From Hôtel Argus
1. Go up the street (Rue Capitaine Crespel) and turn right on Rue des Drapiers
(Distance: 240 mètres – Travel time: 3 minutes)
HOW TO REACH THE ATOMIUM BY METRO
1.
Take Metro route 6 direction ROI BAUDOUIN. Get off at stop HEYSEL.
2.
Walk to ATOMIUM.
The total walking duration is +/- 10 min. Your trip will take approximately 31 min.
HOW TO GET FROM AIRPORT TO THE HOTELS
AIRPORT TRANSFER
There are two easy and comfortable ways to get from the Airport to the Hotel:
TAXI
Taxis with a taximeter are permanently available in front of
the arrivals hall. The fare from the airport to the hotel is
normally around € 34. Licensed taxis can be recognized by
the blue and yellow emblem. Travellers are advised to avoid
unlicensed taxis!
TRAIN
The airport train station is located below the terminal
(basement level-1).

Take the train gate 1 to Braine-Le-Comte or Gand-SaintPierre.
 Stop at Bruxelles-Central (railway station).
 At « Bruxelles- Centrale », take the bus
71 (direction Delta) and stop at “Porte de Namur”.
The journey takes about 35 minutes.
