Many studies highlight the interest of such approach. Among them, three seems to have demonstrated their efficacy in controlled randomized clinical trial (RCT). The cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is now recognized as efficient in most of addictions. The importance of craving in cocaine addiction is one of the reasons why CBT demonstrate such success. The contingency management is well developed in the United States of America, many trials have been done and confirm the positive impact of such approach. Unfortunately, this treatment is less developed in Europe, the concept of vouchers being not always well understood. Drug counseling is also described as a treatment that leads to positive outcomes. On the contrary, motivational interviews seem not to have a positive impact alone.
