Jeudi passé, le 24, l’Abbé Noël a assisté à la réunion,
Le Forum, du Céffa (Conseil de l'éducation de la foi
catholique chez les francophones de l'Alberta). Il tient à
remercier et à souligner la présence active de Mme
Annette Brassard Schoenberger, représentante du
Conseil Scolaire Franco Sud ainsi que tous les
participants de Calgary.

La Marche pour la Vie
Le jeudi 8 mai, devant les édifices
parlementaires à Edmonton, les évêques
de l’AB, l’Abbé Noël avec d’autres
prêtres, ainsi que plusieurs Conseils des
Chevaliers de Colomb, y compris le nôtre
avec d’autres paroissiens, seront présents
à la manifestation pour défendre la vie.

Life and Family Resource Centre (LFRC)
Last call – Reserve Your Ticket for “A Song for Rachel” concert, a fun-filled family fundraising event & silent
auction in support of Project Rachel. To view and bid on the many silent auction items doors open at 7:00
pm, May 9, at St. Paul’s Parish, 1305 Main Street in Airdrie. Google ‘Roman Catholic Diocese of
Calgary - Project Rachel’ to see the list of items already donated. The concert begins at 7:30 pm. Tickets

The Bishops of Alberta are inviting everyone to join in a March for Life on Thursday, May 8 in Edmonton.
This peaceful march in defense of the beautiful gift of human life will begin with Mass at St. Joseph’s
Basilica at 10:30 am and then make their way to the Grounds of the Alberta legislature and through
downtown Edmonton concluding with talks and prayer. To strengthen the cause of the wondrous gift of life,
a ‘National March for Life’ will be held in Ottawa. For more information on the March for Life, visit:

St. Bonaventure Parish will be providing transportation and lunch in support of the above event
(March for Life). Bus will depart at 8am from St. Bonaventure parish (1600 Acadia Drive SE, Calgary) and
return at around 7:00pm. Participants are encouraged to attend 7am Mass prior to departure. Bus space is
limited; please RSVP early by calling St. Bonaventure's parish office at 403-278-7556. Voluntary donation
will be accepted to cover the cost of this event.
“For Better & For Ever…” Marriage Preparation, a program offered by the LFRC of the Calgary Diocese.
This program consists of a 2 hour Monday evening orientation and a Friday evening/Saturday day session.

Health Care Apostolate - The Spring Diocesan Pastoral Care Training Program will begin on Tuesday

‘Revealing the Untold: The Holocaust by Bullets’ The Catholic Diocese of Calgary under the Calgary
Council of Christians and Jews and The Fanny Wedro Holocaust Education Fund present an evening with
Catholic priest, Fr. Patrick Desbois, who will talk about his work uncovering thousands of mass graves in
Eastern Europe and the often untold stories of Jews who were murdered outside the concentration camps.

Interfaith Holocaust Remembrance Service, Thursday May 15 at 7:30pm at St. Michael’s Catholic
Community, 800 – 85th St. SW, Calgary. Fr. Patrick Desbois of the French Bishops’ Council along with Fr.
Julian Studden will lead a Christian-Jewish liturgy of remembrance in mourning the Holocaust. The evening

Badlands Passion Pilgrimage
St. Anthony’s Parish would like to invite you to Drumheller for a Badlands Passion Pilgrimage on Sunday
July 20, 2014. It all starts at 10 am with Bishop Henry celebrating Sunday Mass in the outdoor Passion Play
Theater, followed by a family BBQ picnic, the Man of the Shroud exhibit, and the famous Canadian Badlands
Passion play and children’s games and entertainment. During the picnic you can choose to use the free
shuttle bus to visit the Man of the Shroud exhibit at the parish. Then enjoy prime seats at the passion play
which ends at 6:00 pm. Cost is $60.00 per person for the event. There is free parking and child care during
