Practical Matters /Hotel Recommendations
This information sheet it to help you organize your travel arrangements.
The meeting will take place in Paris from Monday to Wednesday (1-3 December).
Departure for the technical tour to the Civaux nuclear power plant will be on
Wednesday afternoon, 3 December from the Paris Montparnasse train station and
return to Paris Friday afternoon, 5 December. We strongly recommend that you to
arrive in Paris on Sunday night, 30 November at the latest. This would mean booking
3 nights in Paris and 2 nights in Poitiers. You will be responsible for your own
transfers from the Paris airport to your hotel and getting to and from the meeting
every day in Paris.
REMINDER: YOU MUST MAKE ALL YOUR OWN HOTEL RESERVATIONS

conveniently located near the meeting venue, either walking distance to our meeting,
or within a short metro ride. Contact the hotel of your choice. Each hotel listing
provides you with contact information. We have no visibility on room availability. The
rates listed are as best we know them and are not guaranteed by EDF.
This list is organized by neighborhood: Paris Champs de Mars-Tour Eiffel, 7th-15th
district (not as convenient but lower prices) and by descending price.
Technical Tour – Visit of the Civaux Nuclear Power Plant
Poitiers, Wednesday 3 December to Friday 5 December / 2 nights
Poitiers is a small city located in the South-West of France, famous for its medieval
neighboohood. Population is over 88,000 inhabitants. The town is situated 29 km
from the Civaux nuclear power plant.
The French host will take care of purchasing the roundtrip train ticket from Paris to
Poitiers. There will be no cost to participants.

All our transfers (train station, hotel, restaurant, Civaux Nuclear Power Plant) will be
made by private coach.
