Follett Software Company introduces The Bar Tender ® for Windows™. The Bar Tender for Windows is a stand alone
software product featuring many flexible options that enable librarians to print "fill in" barcode labels. It is an
excellent tool for replacing missing barcode labels and labels that get damaged or for printing patron barcode labels
with unique information such as the patrons social security number.
Easy to learn and easy to use. The Bar Tender for
Windows sets a new standard in creating barcodes. Now, even
beginners can design professional-looking, quality labels in
minutes. Create barcodes, text, and graphics quickly and easily.
Also design patron ID cards and print on cardstock.
Supports multiple barcode symbologies
including Code 39 and Codabar. Generate sequentially numbered
barcodes automatically or produce labels one at a time for unique
barcode ranges.
Supports Mod 10 and Mod 43 check digit
algorithms. Check digits calculate automatically and appear
on each label. No manual calculations are required.
True display shows exactly how labels will look, not just
symbolic boxes and arbitrary bars. Different text sizes are shown
properly, not as simulated thin or "blocky" lines. This true-toprint display greatly simplifies label design by showing users
exactly how labels will look prior to printing.
Numerous ready-to-print formats make it possible
to print any size barcode and any size text. Design original labels
or choose a pre-designed label format. Supports all TrueType text,
as well as PostScript and built-in printer fonts.
