Die vergangenen fünfzehn Jahre waren
für mefro zweifellos eine Erfolgsgeschichte:
Mit der Übernahme des ehemaligen VEB
Räderwerk Ronneburg im Jahre 1991
konzentrierten wir uns in einem ersten
Entwicklungsschritt auf die Nischenmärk­
te der Land- und Baumaschinenindustrie
sowie die Hersteller von Pkw-Anhängern,
Caravan und Industriefahrzeugen. Über
einen gezielten Leistungswettbewerb mit
qualitativ hochwertigen Spezialprodukten
konnten wir uns sehr schnell international einen hervorragenden Ruf erarbeiten
und schufen damit die Basis für weiteres
nachhaltiges Wachstum. Durch die Übernahme der SÜDRAD GmbH Radtechnik
im Jahr 2000 erfolgte die konsequente

auf die Volumenmärkte der Automobilund Nutzfahrzeughersteller. Bereits fünf

The last fifteen years undoubtedly were
a success story for mefro: the takeover
of the ex-VEB Räderwerk Ronneburg in
1991 was a first step towards the niche
markets of the agricultural- and construction industries, as well as the manufacturers of car trailers, caravans and industrial
vehicles. Concentrating on competitiveness in performance and the manufacture
of high quality special products, we soon
gained an outstanding international reputation thereby establishing a firm base
for lasting growth. In 2000, the takeover
of SÜDRAD GmbH Radtechnik was the
starting point of a significant expansion of
our business activities towards the volume
markets of the car and truck manufacturers. Just five years later, we succeeded
in acquiring the Michelin Wheel business
unit, which includes the production facilities of Michelin KRONPRINZ Werke
GmbH (today: KRONPRINZ GmbH),
Solingen; Michelin Roues France S.A.S.
(today: mefro ROUES FRANCE S.A.S.),
Troyes; and of TEKERSAN Jant Sanayj

Flurförder- oder vielfältigen Industriefahrzeugen wie Flugzeugbugsiergeräten
über Baumaschinen, Landmaschinen,
Traktoren, Pkw-Anhängern, Wohnwagen, Universalmotorgeräten, Omnibussen bis hin zur breiten Angebots­palette
der Nutzfahrzeug- und Automobilindustrie.

für Lkw und Lkw-Anhänger, 1,1 Mio. Räder
für Pkw-Anhänger und Wohnwagen und
