Perfumer in 1747
Jean de Galimard, Seigneur de Seranon, apparenté
au Comte de Thorenc, vécut à Grasse
où il créa en 1747 la Parfumerie Galimard.
Fondateur de la corporation des gantiers-parfumeurs,
il fournissait alors la Cour du Roi Louis
“ Le Bien-Aimé “ en huiles d’olives, pommades et parfums,
dont il était l’inventeur des premières formules.
Depuis plus de 268 ans, la Parfumerie Galimard poursuit
la tradition de son illustre fondateur et perpétue les procédés
qui ont fait le renom de ses produits.
Parfumeur - Créateur de Parfums dans la plus
pure tradition française, GALIMARD a su demeurer une
Maison entièrement familiale et faire de l’artisanat
une source de créativité contemporaine.
Jean de Galimard lived in Grasse in 1747 where
he created Parfumerie Galimard.
Founder of the corporation of Glovemakers and Perfumers,
Jean supplied the court of Louis, the well-beloved, King of France, with
olive oil, pomades and perfumes from which he developed
the first formulas. Since perfume was used to scent the fashionable
gloves, the industries literally grew together
hand in hand.
For over 268 years, Parfumerie Galimard has been
following the same traditions as its renowned founder
and currently uses the same processes which made
its name famous.

Comme par le passé, elle récolte aux sources de la nature
grassoise, le jasmin, la rose, la lavande, l’oranger, la
tubéreuse, dont elle capte les riches senteurs grâce aux
antiques méthodes qui, seules, peuvent assurer à ses essences
cette incomparable finesse.
Compositions subtiles, sillages sensuels, accords sublimes,
notes pétillantes, cœurs chaleureux...

As in the past, our source is the natural resources of Grasse:
jasmine, rose, lavender, orange flower, and tuberose…
all from which we obtain our rich scents.
Only the use of traditional methods can guarantee the materials
incomparable fine quality.

Mélange merveilleusement rafraîchissant de citronnelle et bergamote

de basilic avec une touche de jasmin et de thym sur un lit de mousse.
Wonderfully refreshing blend of lemongrass and bergamot
with the sparkling citrus notes on a delicate heart of cardamom
and basil with a touch of jasmine and thyme on a bed of moss.

1747 est aujourd’hui une élégante collection de produits d’accueil qui
comprend quatre cosmétiques, disponibles en flacon de 40 ml,
et deux savons parfumés de 25 et 40 g.
La ligne est complétée par un plateau de présentation coloré,
sobre et élégant.
A fragrance revealing a subtle way to live the perfume, for
both women and men.
1747 is now a refined collection of courtesy products made up
of four cosmetics available in 40ml bottles
and two scented soaps available in 25 and 40 grams.
A colourful and elegant display tray completes the product line.
