L’expédition étoile or se tiendra du 26 –28 sept. Tous les
cadets du niveau d’étoile or doivent participer à l’expédition
afin de réussir le niveau d’étoile or et pour se qualifier pour
les camps d’été et les expéditions avancés. Voir la lettre et
feuille de permission à l’annexe F. IC Rahmani sera
l’officier d’escorte pour cette expédition.
ARMY CADET FITNESS TEST
The first army cadet fitness test of the training year will take place
during the afternoon of Sept 20.

SEPT 6 – FIRST TRAINING DAY OF NEW YEAR
HIKING AT MONT-TREMBLANT
On Sept 27 there will be a hiking day in Mont-Tremblant.
See letter and permission slip at annex E.

GOLD STAR EXPEDITION
The Gold Star expedition will take place from Sept 26 - 28.
All Gold Star level cadets must participate in this expedition
in order to pass the Gold Star training level and to qualify
for advanced summer training and expeditions. See letter
and permission slip at annex F. CI Rahmani will be the
escort officer for this expedition.

La date limite pour le retour du formulaire est samedi, le 20
sept. Les formulaires ont été envoyés chez tous les cadets
la mi-août. Si vous ne l’avez pas reçu, faites la demande
par la chaîne de commandement. Ceux qui ne soumettent
pas le formulaire à temps ne pourront pas participer aux
activités spéciales.
Deadline to return the completed form is Saturday,
September 20. All forms were mailed to cadets’ homes
mid-August. If you have not received it, request a copy
through your chain of command. Failure to submit the form
on time will result in disqualification from special activities.

Les ’échanges se feront au courant du mois de septembre.
Les pièces nécessitant l’échange seront notées lors de

rendez-vous au QM par la chaîne de commandement.

1. Samedi, le 27 septembre, le CC2806 va participer à une
randonnée pédestre dans le parc du Mont-Tremblant.
1. Saturday, 27 September 2014, CC2806 will participate
in a one-day hike at Mont-Tremblant.
2. Les cadets devront apporter leur lunch, bouteille d’eau
réutilisable et collations de leur choix, dans un sac à dos.
La tenue de la journée est sports (pas de combats), bottes
de randonnée ou de combat ou espadrilles, veste ou
chandail, imperméable, tuque ou gants, selon la météo.
2. Cadets are required to bring their lunch, refillable
water bottle and snacks of their choice, in a backpack.
Dress is sports (no combats), hiking boots, combat boots
or running shoes, jacket or sweater, rain gear, toque or
gloves, in accordance with the weather.
3. Votre enfant devra apporter sa carte d’assurancemaladie, médicaments et feuille de permission afin de
participer. Les cadets étant diabétique, souffrant
d’allergies ou d’asthme doivent apporter leurs
médicaments/pompes.
3. All cadets must bring their Medicare Card, medications
and permission slip with them in order to participate.
Cadets who are diabetic, have allergies or asthma, must
have their medication/pump with them.
4. Départ : Le 27 sept. à 07h00 du corps de cadets. .

Aux parents/tuteurs des cadets du niveau étoile d’or.
1. Le Centre d’Expédition Montréal tiendra l’expédition étoile d’or (EEO) pour le niveau étoile
d’or le 26, 27 et 28 septembre 2014.
2. Les activités du EEO du CE MTL seront constituées de la randonnée pédestre et canot,
(endroit précis à venir).
3. Le EEO fait partie du programme d’instruction obligatoire complémentaire des cadets de
l’Armée. La participation de votre fils/fille est d’une grande importance en ce qui a trait à
leur cheminement à l’intérieur du programme d’étoiles. De plus, la participation au EEO est
préalable à la participation aux expéditions.
4. Le départ le 26 septembre s’effectue du PCC Longue-Pointe, 6560 rue Hochelaga, Mtl. Les
cadets sont attendus pour 18h30 à la bâtisse 212. L’autobus quittera à 19h00. Le retour est
prévu pour 15h30 le 28 septembre au même endroit. Le covoiturage est recommandé.
5. Chaque cadet devra avoir sa carte d’assurance maladie ainsi que ses médicaments bien
identifiés en sa possession au départ. La tenue civile est fortement recommandée pour la fin
de semaine.
6. La liste d’équipement est ci-jointe. S.v.p. complêter l’autorisation parentale et la remettre à
l’IC Jamshid Rahmani, l’officier d’escorte, au départ.

To parents/guardians of Gold Star level cadets
1. The Montreal Expedition Centre will be holding a Gold Star expedition (GSE) for gold star
level cadets on 26, 27and 28 sept , 2014.
2. The MTL EC GSE will be comprised canoeing and hiking (location to be advised).
3. The GSE is part of the supplementary required training for Army cadets. Your
son’s/daughter’s participation is an integral part of their advancement within the star level
program. As well, participation in the GSE is a prerequisite for future expedition programs.
4. Departure will be 26 Sept from Longue-Pointe, 6560 Hochelaga St., Montreal. Cadets must
arrive by 18h30 at building 212. The bus will leave at 19h00. Return is scheduled for 28
Sept at15h30 at the same location. Carpooling is recommended.
5. Every cadet must have his/her RAMQ health insurance card as well as any medications
clearly marked, at departure. Civilian dress is highly recommended for the weekend.
