Dear Valued Customer:
On behalf of American Eurocopter, I am pleased to introduce
you to our 2011 Customer Service Directory, the first major
update of the directory since my appointment as Vice President of Commercial Sales, Marketing and Customer Support
last September. This directory contains fully updated contact and product information, and will be continually updated
throughout the year on our website.
2010 signaled positive trends in many areas of the industry,
with American Eurocopter noting a substantial increase in
bookings and flight hours. We once again maintained our
position as the leading producer of U.S. civil turbine helicopters, for the tenth year in a row, and delivered 139 aircraft to our civil and military customers.
American Eurocopter continued to strengthen its local capabilities during 2010, adding D-level EC135 and EC145 blade
repair certification to the existing range of major airframe
repair (MAR) capabilities offered for these aircraft. Our new
AS350 Level B Full Flight Simulator was also introduced,
joining the full-motion EC135/EC145 FTD already in operation in Grand Prairie alongside our fleet of training helicopters. The appointment in August of Jane Tischler as our
Director of Supply Services also brought to the company a
highly regarded industry professional, with several significant improvements already introduced to our Supply Services offerings.
We have truly hit 2011 running, with activity levels remaining
high across all areas of the business. We anticipate a double-digit increase in bookings and deliveries this year as the
market continues to recover, and plan a range of significant
new product, support and training developments during the
year. Heli-Expo will see the initial results of Eurocopter’s
five-year, $1.7 Bn company funded investment in R&D
unveiled, and the first production AS350s equipped with the
Vision 1000 light aircraft recording system will be delivered
early in the year. The EC135 and EC145 will enter operational service with WAAS LPV capability, as certification
efforts are launched on additional applications.
American Eurocopter will continue to add to its training
portfolio during the year, with additional MAR capabilities
also planned for introduction during 2011. Our Supply Services and Technical Support teams will continue to enhance
their service offerings through the year, as new back office
systems come on line in support of our overarching focus on
providing industry best levels of support.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Customer Service & Fleet Operations Center (CSFC) celebrated its first full year of operation, contributing to a
reduced 24-hour AOG closure rate and improved American
Eurocopter customer satisfaction ratings.
• New aircraft and parts costs price increases once again
kept to a minimum for the benefit of our customers, with
American Eurocopter’s five-year cumulative price increase
being 25% lower than our main competitor.
• D-Level certification obtained from Eurocopter for the local
repair and overhaul of EC135 and EC145 main rotor blades,
maximizing convenience for U.S. operators.
• American Eurocopter’s Supply Services customer support
streamlined with the introduction of single point-of-contact
numbers for Spares and AOG support, maximizing responsiveness.
• Additional functionality added to the Keycopter customer
portal, including IPC-linked ordering and personalized
alerts, with dedicated training sessions held at major customer events through the year.
• Shipment consolidation introduced by American Eurocopter’s Supply Services group, reducing operators’ shipping
charges and inbound freight, while maintaining prioritization
of AOG shipments.
• New full-motion Level B AS350 B2 and B3 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) introduced at American Eurocopter’s headquarters in Grand Prairie, TX, alongside our existing full-motion
EC135/EC145 flight training device (FTD).
• EC135 and EC145 certified for Wide Area Augmentation
System Lateral Precision with Vertical Guidance (WAAS LPV)
operations, this capability now offered as a retrofit for aircraft with Garmin 430W/530W and MEGHAS displays.
• AS350 B3 increased max gross weight and EC135 inlet barrier filter (IBF) retrofit campaigns launched with induction of
initial aircraft at Grand Prairie.
• EC130 maintenance trainer introduced at the American
Eurocopter Training Center, offering hands-on maintenance
training for all of the EC130’s major systems.
• Multiple customer events held, including Customer Support Symposium, EC135 Operator Symposium and AS350
simulator workshop, plus events held in association with the
year’s industry shows and conferences.

following catalog of flight and maintenance
training courses.

Flight Training Courses
These courses combine classroom instruction
with flight instruction. Minimum requirements
include FAA-issued Private Pilot Certificate
with a Rotorcraft - Helicopter Rating, take-off
and landing currency in helicopters, and a valid
medical certificate.
Pilot Initial/Transition Course
Initial/transition flight training in factory owned
helicopters is offered for the following models:
EC120 - 3 days classroom, 3 flight hrs
AS350 B2 / B3 - 3 days classroom, 4 flight hrs
AS350 B3 2B1 - 3 days classroom, 3 flight hrs
EC145 - 7 -10 days (42 hrs.) classroom, 7 flight
hrs
Initial/transition flight training for the following
models is conducted in the customer’s helicopter. Pricing will be negotiated based on

NVG Initial Qualification for Commercial Pilots
This course provides pilots with the basic
knowledge on the safe use of night vision goggles. It provides an in-depth study of the human
visual system and the theory of Night Vision
Goggles, and provides Basic Aircraft Maneuvers
- Commercial PTS and NVG Specific.
Minimum requirements include a valid commercial pilot’s certificate, a current Class 2 or
better medical certificate, at least 500 total
hours of helicopter experience, recent attendance at American Eurocopter refresher training for the aircraft model in question, and night
currency in accordance with FAR 61.57.

NVG Refresher
In addition to the requirements listed for the
NVG initial qualification course, pilots who have
not attended an NVG Qualification Course from
American Eurocopter must be able to produce
evidence that they were previously NVG-qualified either in a military program or via an FAA
Approved Part 141 NVG Qualification course.
AS350 B2 / B3 - 4 hrs classroom, 2 flight hrs
NVG Instructor Orientation
Minimum requirements include a valid commercial pilot’s certificate, CFI helicopter rating,
a current medical certificate, at least 300 total
hours of helicopter experience, at least 100
hours of NVG time, documented NVG initial
qualification from an approved Part 141 organization, and log book endorsement designating
as NVG PIC by applicant’s parent organization.
EC120 & AS350 B2 / B3 12.7 hrs classroom, 4 flight hrs
Tactical Flight Officers: TFOs are welcome to
attend NVG courses together with their unit
pilots. This includes ground school and back
seat ride during normal procedures.
Night Urban Flight and Emergencies
This course is advanced night training for private or commercial pilots. It covers an in-depth
study of the human visual system and provides
Basic Aircraft Maneuvers with demonstration of
visual problems as well as full emergency procedures at night.
Minimum requirements include a valid private
or commercial pilot’s certificate, a current
Class 2 or better medical certificate, at least
300 total hours of helicopter experience, and
previous attendance at American Eurocopter
initial training for the aircraft model in question.

Airframe Field Maintenance Courses
These courses utilize classroom instruction
and/or shop demonstrations to train the student to a point where he or she will be able to
demonstrate an understanding of the fundamental operations and skills necessary to
maintain the aircraft in an airworthy condition.
Acceptance into the courses is based on the
requirement that the student possess the basic
experience and skill levels of one of the following: certification as an airframe mechanic/engineer with one year practical experience
as a rated aircraft mechanic/engineer; one
year of experience as an active mechanic/engineer on helicopters; or three years general experience as a commercial or military
aircraft mechanic/engineer.
American Eurocopter offers on-site maintenance courses for the following aircraft: EC120,
AS350 Series (D, B, BA, B2, B3), EC130, EC135,
EC145, BK117, AS365 and EC155.
Initial Familiarization - 10 days/ 60 hrs
Refresher training - 5 days/ 30 hrs
American Eurocopter also offers on-site maintenance courses for its AS332 heavy twin helicopter.

American Eurocopter offers EC135 simulator
training in an FAA Level 6 certified full-motion
system with 6 degrees of freedom, a visual system with a 150° by 80° field of vision, and a
database that includes detailed airports, helipads, and realistic 3-D moving models. The following courses are approved under Part 142:
Initial Training 38 hrs of ground instruction, 15.5 hrs in FTD
Recurrent Training 12 hrs of ground instruction, up to 6 hrs in FTD
The EC135 simulator is also convertible to an
EC145 Flight Simulation Training Device.
AS350 Simulator: American Eurocopter’s new
FAA Level B certified AS350 simulator is now
ready for training. The AS350 simulator is a
full-motion, multi-mission trainer that will
cover a wide spectrum of training missions for
Airborne Law Enforcement, Air Medical Services and other AS350 operators.
