Acquisition of Optique de Précision J Fichou and Tofico
by Photonics Group International (PGI)
Jean Jacques Contet, President of Optique de Précision Fichou and Tofico is very pleased to
announce the sale of his companies to Philippe Gruson, former President of BFi Optilas.
Philippe Goupilleau, currently head of the Photonic Division of AcalBFi France, will join the
new venture as Managing Director and will be supported by Guillaume Dubois, currently
Photonic Sales Engineer at Acal BFi France. The acquisition will be done through a newly
created company - PG International (Photonics Group International).
Jean Jacques Contet declared, « I am very pleased that the continuity of the activities of
Fichou and Tofico are ensured as a result of this transaction. I have the greatest comfort in
the ability of Philippe Gruson and Philippe Goupilleau to preserve and grow the outstanding
know-how that these companies have developed over time since their founding in 1946. I will
assist the new management team as long as required to guarantee an effective transition».
