Discographie sélective et diabolique
Le Hellfest ou comment un groupe de copains, fans de musiques
extrêmes, réussit, à force d’entêtement et d’audace, à créer l’un des plus
importants festivals Européens dédié à la scène « métal » internationale ?
L’histoire commence en 2000. Des copains décident d’organiser
quelques concerts dans la région nantaise afin de faire partager leur
passion des musiques Hard - Core, Trash, Speed , Heavy ou Black Métal.
Des noms barbares pour désigner les rejetons du grand-père Hard - Rock.
Dès les premiers concerts le public et les groupes répondent présents
puisque près de 400 personnes assistent aux prestations de groupes venus
de Grande-Bretagne, des Etats-Unis, ou d’Europe.
Ainsi d’année en année et malgré les soucis logistiques, la banqueroute
financière et les déboires climatiques, les petits concerts ont grossi pour
donner lieu aujourd’hui au Hellfest qui attirera en 2007 près de 40 000 fans
venus de toute l’ Europe.
Clisson la médiévale, Clisson l’Italienne revêt ainsi chaque année, en
Juin, ses plus beaux atours « métalliques ». Alors on peut détester ou
méconnaître ces musiques mais il faut saluer le courage et la ténacité des
organisateurs. Malgré une faune haute en couleur (noire) et des déluges de
décibels, ce festival se déroule habituellement sans heurts, dans la bonne
humeur et comble les amateurs de distorsions et d’amplis Marshall.
Slayer, Motorhead, Anthrax, Megadeth, Machine Head et bien
d’autres sont les dignes représentants de ces courants musicaux que sont
le Hard - Core, le Trash, le Speed - Metal, le Black - Metal, le Grind ou plus
simplement le Hard-Rock.
Musiques de l’Enfer, de l’Apocalypse ou du Diable, comme le Blues en
son temps, elles sont souvent décriées et mal relayées par les médias
généralistes. Et pourtant cette année encore plus de 60000 brebis
égarées viendront à Clisson vendre leur âme au…démon du Métal.
