Le Mirage 2000D volera encore dans l’armée de l’air en

La rénovation à mi-vie du Mirage 2000D
a été lancée, lors d’un Comité ministériel
d’investissement (CMI) du ministère de la
Défense qui s’est tenu mercredi. Près de
19 millions d’euros avaient déjà été
engagés dans le budget 2015.
La mission Défense prévoit dans la
construction du budget de cette année
160 millions d’euros (32 millions en
2016), dont 89 millions au-delà de 2017,
pour la rénovation à mi-vie des Mirage
2000D.
Mais
ce
montant
va
significativement augmenter avec le feu
vert du ministère de la Défense.
Ce programme avait déjà fait l’objet d’un
contrat de définition et de levée de
risques en 2011. 55 Mirage 2000D
rénovés Cette opération va concerner 55
Mirage 2000D sur les 71 appareils
actuellement dans le parc de l’armée de
l’air.
L’ancien chef d’état-major de l’armée de
l’air, le général Denis Mercier, avait
expliqué en avril dernier à l’Assemblée
nationale que “ma cible, pour tenir dans
la durée, est de 55 Mirage 2000D
modernisés”. L’armée de l’air aura à
l’horizon...

modification of four C-130s to Marshall
