La recherche sur les enjeux des RH dans le secteur se poursuit dans le cadre du projet Mise à jour de l'étude sur
les ressources humaines, lancé en décembre 2010. L'étude a recueilli les commentaires de 1357 employeurs, ce
qui représente environ 80 000 employés, et les commentaires de 1805 employés et de 82 fournisseurs de
services didactiques. Cette recherche en profondeur sera utilisée pour suivre les progrès réalisés depuis 2005
quand l'étude originale du secteur a été achevée. Elle mettra en évidence les similitudes et les différences qui
ont marqué le marché du travail depuis. Le rapport intermédiaire, qui vient tout juste de paraître, passe en revue
la méthodologie du projet et ses principales constatations ainsi que les difficultés qu'éprouve le secteur en
matière de recrutement, de compétences en leadership, de planification de la relève et de départ à la retraite. Il
fournit aussi des renseignements sur l'échéance du projet.
