Course Objectives
Clarify your public identity : what sort of public speaker are you?
Understand the stakes of communication skills in today's context
Aquire a tool box in communication skills : Confidence, clarity, originality, impact
Contest : prepare in a team of two a debate
TEACHING METHODOLOGY:
With the use of theatrical, cinematic tools and exercises :
become aware of your presence, your body language.
Devellop your skills in story telling
Build team spirit
Build your confidence in order to be able to dare
Make an impact
OUTLINE / ASSIGNMENTS
Presentation in front of the camera
Various written assignments
A public debate with a contest
COURSE GRADE SYSTEM
Two collecive and individual assessments : one mid course and another one at
the end.
You will get individual feed back throughout the course
You will be graded on the quality of your participation and your ability to listen as
well as to speak. You will also be graded on your imptovements and ability to take
risks.
The debate will be a contest.
