• CHARON-VAX/XL, a VAX 3100-98 emulator for the Windows 2003 Standard Edition or XP
platforms with 512 MB emulated VAX memory. The CHARON-VAX/XL Plus version has an high
speed VAX CPU emulator based on Accelerated CPU Emulation (ACE), providing up to 70+ VUPs
system performance.
• CHARON-VAX/XM, CHARON-VAX/XM Plus and CHARON-VAX/XK Plus for the Windows
2003 Standard Edition or XP platforms are the lower cost versions with 128 MB respectively 256 MB
emulated VAX memory.
• CHARON-VAX/6610 Plus, CHARON-VAX/6620 Plus, CHARON-VAX/6630 Plus and
CHARON-VAX/6660 Plus for Windows are maximum performance SMP VAX 6000-6x0 emulators
on Windows 2003 Standard Edition or XP platforms with one, two, three and six emulated VAX 6000
CPUs and ACE, providing up to 400+ VUPs CPU performance and up to 2 GB emulated VAX
memory.
• CHARON-VAX/6610 Plus, CHARON-VAX/6620 Plus, CHARON-VAX/6630 Plus and
CHARON-VAX/6660 Plus for OpenVMS/Alpha are high-performance SMP VAX 6000-6x0
emulators on OpenVMS/Alpha, with one, two, three and six emulated VAX 6000 CPUs and ACE,
providing up to 140+ VUPs performance and up to 2 GB emulated VAX memory.
• CHARON-VAX/AXP Plus is a mid-performance VAX 3100-98 emulator for the OpenVMS/Alpha
platform with 512 MB emulated VAX memory and Accelerated CPU Emulation.
• CHARON-VAX components for Linux, A combination of a design service and a customized product
for system integrators and the replacement of embedded MicroVAX systems.
• CHARON-AXP/4000 for Windows provides the functional equivalent of an AlphaServer 4000/466
computer system hardware when executed on a 3 GHz dual CPU AMD Opteron or equivalent Windows
XP or 2003 X64 server. It is designed to allow the substitution of the AlphaServer 800, AlphaServer
1000, AlphaServer 1200, AlphaServer 2000, AlphaServer 2100 or AlphaServer 4000 systems with
industry-standard servers.
• CHARON-AXP/3000 for Windows provides the functional equivalent of an DEC3000 model 600
computer system hardware when executed on a 2 GHz dual CPU AMD Opteron or equivalent Windows
XP or 2003 X64 server. It is designed to allow the substitution of the DEC3000/300, DEC3000/400,
DEC3000/500, DEC3000/600, DEC3000/700 or DEC3000/800 systems with industry-standard servers.
• CHARON-AXP/1000 for Windows provides the functional equivalent of an AlphaServer 1000/266
computer system hardware when executed when executed on a 2.4 GHz dual CPU AMD Opteron or
equivalent Windows XP or 2003 X64 server. It is designed to allow the substitution of the AlphaServer
400 4/266 or AlphaServer 1000 4/266 or AlphaServer 2000 4/275 systems with industry-standard
servers.
• PersonalAlpha for Windows is to allow users to develop OpenVMS/Apha applications on their
notebooks or demonstrate the feasibility of the Alpha emulation. It is not suitable for production use.
Please note that, once installed on a computer, this software cannot be installed on another system using
the same license.
