Journée de crème glacé
Il a une journée de crème glacée tous
les jeudis. Cela aide à lever des fonds
pour le voyage de fin d’année { la 6e
année. Un cornet coûte 1$. Thursday
of every week is ice cream day. This
helps fund the year end trip for the
grade 6 students. Ice cream cones sell
for 1$
Journée HotDog
Il va avoir une journée de hotdog le
25 novembre. There will be a hot dog
day on November 25th.
Reprise de photo
La reprise de photo est le 16
novembre. Si vous désirez, que votre
enfant prend leurs photos svp fait le
savoir au bureau. Retake day is on
November 16th. If you wish your child
to take a photo on this day play let the
office know.

Nous avons de l’école le 8 novembre.

development day for all French
schools on the Island. We have school
as usual on the 8th of November.
Jour du souvenir
Nous allons avoir une assemblée du
jour du Souvenir le 10 novembre à
14h. Les parents sont invités à nous
joindre pour la cérémonie. Un rappel
qu’il n’aura pas d’école le 11
novembre. We will have an assembly
for Remembrance Day on November
10th at 2pm. Parents are invited to join
us for the ceremonie. A reminder also
that there is no school on the 11th of
November.

17th in the evening and November
18th in the morning.
Again this year, we would like you to
bring your child to the meetings. It is
very important to have the parents,
the child and the teacher at this
meeting. If you wish to meet with the
teacher without the child present,
please make an appointment before
these scheduled meetings.
Bulletins
Les bulletins scolaires iront à la
maison le 25 novembre pour les
élèves de la maternelle à la 12e
année. Report cards will be going
home on November 25th for all
students from Kindergarten to grade
12.
Information – drogue
Les élèves de la 7e à la 12e année
iront à l’école Souris Regional le 9
novembre pour une présentation
faite par la GRC sur la drogue.
La communauté est invitée en soirée
à la même présentation à 18h30.

Salon du livre Scholastic
La semaine du 14 novembre au 18
novembre est la semaine du Salon du
livre Scholastic dans le foyer de
l’école. C’est une belle occasion de
faire des achats pour Noël. Tout le
monde de la communauté est invité à
venir faire des achats. The week of
November 14th is our annual
Scholastic book fair. It is the pefect
occasion to start your Christmas
shopping. Everyone is invited!!
Souris Parade
La parade de Noël de la ville de
Souris est le 3 décembre cette année.
Le thème cette année est * un aperçu
de notre avenir * nous allons
demander que les élèves qui désire
faire partie du char allégorique cette
année s’inscrivent. Cette année, les
élèves qui participent doivent
s’habiller dans ce qu’ils veulent être
dans le futur ex. médecin, enseignant,
mécanicien, avocat, etc. Indiquer sur
la fiche d’inscription si vous avez
besoin de l'aide à trouver le costume
approprié pour votre enfant.
** Ce n’est pas l’occasion de s’habiller
en super héros, c’est vraiment de
s’habiller dans la carrière que votre
enfant désire devenir. The Christmas
parade this year for the town of Souris
is on December 3rd. The theme this
year is *a glimpse into our future* and
we will ask that students that wish to
take part in the parade register. This
year the students that take part in the
parade are asked to dress up into
what they see themselves being in the
future ex. a doctor, a teacher, a
mechanic, a lawyer, etc. Please
indicate on the registration form if
you think you will need help finding a
costume for your child. ** This is not
the time to dress up into Super Heros,
it is a time to get dressed up into the
career your child sees himself being in
at this time.

All tickets and money for out NHL
fundraiser are due back on
November 17th and 18th during the
parent teacher interviews. We will
have a table set up in the entrance to
collect.

Gymnastics programme
The Kings County Gymnastics Club
is
offering
a "10"
week GYMNASTICS PROGRAM at
Ecole La-Belle-Cloche School in
Fortune on Wednesday evenings
starting November 23rd. There
will be 5 classes before Christmas
Break and 5 classes after New
Years. The dates are as follows:
Nov. 23, 30, Dec. 7, 14, and 21 and
then Jan. 4, 11, 18, 25 and Feb.1.
The program is offered to girls
and boys ages 3-15. First class
time is from 6:00-7:00 p.m. for the
3-6 year olds and the second class
time is from 7:00-8:00 p.m. for the
7-15 year olds. The primary goal
of the club is to offer the children
FUN,
FITNESS
and
FUNDAMENTALS of the sport of
gymnastics. The Head Instructor is
Darlene Grenier, a Level III
certified gymnastics coach.
Registration is taking place at the
Main Street Mall in Souris on
Saturday, November
19th from
11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Registration
fee
is
$80.00
+
$25.00
insurance/registration fee. The
ins./reg. fee is a once a year fee
