The École normale supérieure de Cachan (ENS Cachan), a prestigious public
institution of higher education and research founded in 1912, is one of the major
French Grandes Écoles, which are considered the pinnacle of French higher
education. It specialises in Social Sciences, Humanities and Economics. Classes are
offered in French in Sociology, History, etc.
The ENS Cachan Language Department organizes French language classes for
foreign students and staff throughout the academic year (all levels). Learn more about

Adequate knowledge of the French language is generally required for all foreign
student applicants who wish to enroll in non-language courses. Your language skills
