1. QU’EST-CE QUE H.E.C®, pommade pour application cutanée et nasale ET
DANS QUEL CAS EST-IL UTILISÉ ?
Ce médicament se présente sous forme de pommade, tube de 25 g.
Il est indiqué en :
- DERMATOLOGIE
pour le traitement local d’appoint des brûlures superficielles de faible étendue.
- RHINOLOGIE
pour le traitement local d’appoint en cas de saignements de nez (épistaxis).
2. INFORMATIONS NÉCESSAIRES AVANT D’UTILISER H.E.C®, pommade pour
application cutanée et nasale
Ne pas utiliser H.E.C®, pommade pour application cutanée et nasale dans
les cas suivants :
• allergie à l’un des constituants de la pommade, notamment pyrazolés, baume du
Pérou, graisse de laine ou lanoline ;
• lésions infectées.
EN CAS DE DOUTE, IL EST INDISPENSABLE DE DEMANDER L’AVIS DE VOTRE
PHARMACIEN OU DE VOTRE MÉDECIN.

Grossesse - Allaitement
D’une façon générale il convient, au cours de la grossesse et de l’allaitement, de demander
conseil à votre médecin ou à votre pharmacien avant de prendre tout médicament.

3. COMMENT UTILISER H.E.C®, pommade pour application cutanée et nasale ?
Posologie
Voie cutanée.
Dermatologie : 1 ou 2 applications par jour.
Rhinologie : en imprégnation de mèches nasales.
Si vous avez l’impression que l’effet de H.E.C®, pommade pour application
cutanée et nasale est trop fort ou trop faible :
consultez votre pharmacien ou votre médecin afin qu’il adapte votre traitement.
Si vous avez utilisé plus de H.E.C®, pommade pour application cutanée et
nasale que vous n’auriez dû :
Consultez immédiatement votre pharmacien ou votre médecin.
Si vous oubliez de prendre H.E.C®, pommade pour application cutanée et
nasale :
Ne prenez pas de dose double pour compenser la dose simple que vous avez oubliée
de prendre, mais poursuivez simplement votre traitement.
4. QUELS SONT LES EFFETS INDÉSIRABLES ÉVENTUELS ?
Comme tous les médicaments, H.E.C®, pommade pour application cutanée
et nasale est susceptible d’avoir des effets indésirables :
- risque d’eczéma de contact.
SIGNALEZ À VOTRE MÉDECIN OU VOTRE PHARMACIEN TOUT EFFET NON SOUHAITÉ
ET GÊNANT QUI NE SERAIT PAS MENTIONNÉ DANS CETTE NOTICE.
5. COMMENT CONSERVER H.E.C®, pommade pour application cutanée et
nasale ?
A conserver à une température inférieure à 25°C.
Ne laisser ni à la portée, ni à la vue des enfants.
Ne pas dépasser la date limite d’utilisation figurant sur le conditionnement extérieur.

1. WHAT IS H.E.C®, skin and nasal ointment AND WHEN SHOULD IT BE USED?
This medication is an ointment for cutaneous and nasal applications, 25 g tube.
It is recommended as:
- DERMATOLOGY
Local treatment to provide relief in small-scale superficial burns.
- RHINOLOGY
Local treatment of bleeding nose (epistaxis).
2. INFORMATION REQUIRED BEFORE USING H.E.C®, skin and nasal ointment
Do not use H.E.C®, skin and nasal ointment in the following cases:
• hypersensitivity to one of its ingredients, particularly to pyrazol derivatives, Peru
Balsam, wool fat (or lanolin);
• infected lesions.
IF IN DOUBT, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO SEEK THE ADVICE OF YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST.

Precautions of use
IF IN ANY DOUBT, DO NOT HESITATE TO SEEK THE ADVICE OF YOUR DOCTOR OR
PHARMACIST.
Use of other medications.
IN ORDER TO AVOID POSSIBLE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN SEVERAL DRUGS, YOU
SHOULD SYSTEMATICALLY INFORM YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST ABOUT ANY
OTHER ONGOING TREATMENT.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
As a general rule, if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, ask your doctor or pharmacist
for advice before taking any medication.
Excipients with a notorious effect
Wool fat (or lanolin).
3. HOW TO USE H.E.C®, skin and nasal ointment?
Dosage
Application to the skin.
Dermatology: 1 or 2 applications daily.
Rhinology: impregnated in nasal wicks.
If you have the feeling that the effect H.E.C®, skin and nasal ointment is
either too weak or too strong, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.
If you have administered more H.E.C®, skin and nasal ointment than you
should have:
See your doctor or a pharmacist immediately.
If you forget to take H.E.C®, skin and nasal ointment
Do not take a double dose in order to compensate the dose you have forgotten;
but continue simply your treatment.
4. WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE ADVERSE EFFECTS?
Like any medication, H.E.C®, skin and nasal ointment may cause adverse effects.
- Possibility of contact eczema.
IF YOU NOTICE ANY ADVERSE EFFECTS NOT MENTIONED IN THIS LEAFLET,
PLEASE REPORT THESE TO YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST.
5. HOW SHOULD H.E.C®, skin and nasal ointment BE STORED?
Keep at a temperature below 25°C.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not exceed the expiry date printed on the package.
