The Liberal Culture Association SOCIETA’
LIBERA, independent and non partisan, has organized for a long time events aiming at safeguarding
the principle of Freedom, considered both as an
individual right as well as the right for the selfdetermination of Peoples.
Società Libera, being consistent with its own conception of Liberalism, which acknowledges a supremacy and a central role to the Person and to his
natural rights, has promoted for three years the
International March for Freedom in Rome. This is
a silent demonstration that aims to rally public opinion in defence of the freedom of Burmese, Iranian,
Tibetan and Uyghur Peoples, and to give a wider
visibility to whoever is fighting for freedom in the
world.
Considering the worsening condition of human
rights in the world, it is not enough to show a general solidarity or to demonstrate separately for single
situations.
It is high time that squares in Europe fill up with
people who are aware of this. It is high time for the
Western world to shake up and concretely arouse
interest and awareness about the living condition of
hundreds of thousands of people. It is high time that
Europe and supranational organisms are encouraged to take a position in defence of minorities, not
least the Christian minority.
It is time for Europe to institute and celebrate the
European Day for Freedom of Oppressed
Minorities and Peoples.
With these purposes in mind, Società Libera appeals to the peoples of Europe, to the communities of
Oppressed Minorities and Peoples and to media
organizations, so that a wide and unitary movement
can start from Berlin, Paris and Rome, making everybody aware that the defence of Human Rights is
an international priority.

AND PEOPLES
L’Associazione di cultura liberale SOCIETA’
LIBERA, indipendente ed apartitica, da tempo indirizza la sua attività verso iniziative tese ad esaltare la
salvaguardia del principio di Libertà intesa come
diritto individuale e di autodeterminazione dei
Popoli.
Società Libera, coerente con la sua concezione del
liberalismo che riconosce supremazia e centralità alla
Persona e ai suoi diritti naturali, per tre anni ha promosso a Roma la Marcia Internazionale per la
Libertà, manifestazione silenziosa volta a mobilitare
l’opinione pubblica in difesa della libertà dei popoli
Birmano, Iraniano, Tibetano e Uyghuro e per dare
maggiore visibilità all’impegno di chi, nel mondo,
lotta per la libertà.
A fronte del peggioramento nel mondo della situazione dei diritti umani, ritiene che non basta più
esprimere generiche solidarietà e manifestare separatamente e per singole situazioni.
E’ tempo che in Europa si riempiano le piazze di
gente consapevole. E’ tempo che l’Occidente si scuota e mobiliti concretamente interesse e coscienze sulle
condizioni di centinaia di milioni di uomini. E’
tempo che l’Europa e gli organismi soprannazionali
vengano sollecitati ad assumere posizione a tutela
delle minoranze, non ultima di quella cristiana.
E’ tempo che l’Europa istituisca la Giornata
Europea per la Libertà delle Minoranze e dei
Popoli oppressi.
Con questi intendimenti Società Libera si appella
alle genti d’Europa, alle comunità delle Minoranze e
dei Popoli oppressi e agli organi d’informazione affinché da Berlino, Parigi e Roma parta un vasto e unitario movimento di mobilitazione, in grado di far comprendere che la difesa dei Diritti Umani è una priorità internazionale.

LIBERA, indépendante des partis politiques, organise depuis longtemps des initiatives qui ont l’objectif
de sauvegarder le principe de Liberté ; celle-ci est conçue tant comme un droit individuel, que comme le
droit à l’autodétermination des Peuples.
Società Libera, conformément à sa conception du
libéralisme, qui reconnait une suprématie et un rôle
central à la Personne et à ses droits naturels, a organisé pendant trois ans à Rome la Marche
Internationale pour la Liberté, manifestation silencieuse qui vise à mobiliser l’opinion publique en
défense de la liberté des peuples Birman, Iranien,
Tibétain et Ouighour, et à donner plus de visibilité à
l’engagement de tous ceux qui, dans le monde, luttent pour la liberté.
Face à une aggravation de la condition des droits
de l’homme dans le monde, Società Libera estime
qu’il ne suffit plus d’exprimer de vagues solidarités et
de manifester séparément et pour des situations particulières.
Il est temps qu’en Europe les places se remplissent
de personnes conscientes. Il est temps que l’Occident
se secoue et mobilise concrètement intérêts et consciences à propos des conditions de centaines de millions de personnes. Il est temps que l’Europe et les
organisations supranationales soient sollicitées à
prendre position pour sauvegarder les minorités, sans
oublier la minorité chrétienne.
Il est temps que l’Europe mette en place la Journée
Européenne pour les Libertés des Minorités et des
Peuples opprimés.
Dans ce but, Società Libera fait appel aux gens
d’Europe, aux communautés des Minorités et des
Peuples opprimés et aux organes de l’information,
afin que de Berlin, Paris et Rome démarre un mouvement de mobilisation vaste et unitaire, qui puisse
faire comprendre que la défense des Droits de
l’Homme est une priorité internationale.

LIBERA, organisiert seit geraumer Zeit
Veranstaltungen, die sich für den Schutz des
Freiheitsprinzips einsetzen, welches sowohl als
Individualrecht als Selbstbestimmungsrecht der
Völker aufgefasst wird.
Im Einklang mit ihrem Konzept vom
Liberalismus, das dem einzelnen Menschen und
seinen natürlichen Rechten Vorrang sowie die zentrale Rolle einräumt, hat Società Libera gefördert in
Rom für drei Jahren einen Schweige Internationale
Marsch für die Freiheit, der der Öffentliche
Meinung zur Freiheitverteidigung der birmanen,
iranischen, tibetischen und uigurischen Völker
mobilisieren soll.
Angesichts
dessen,
wie
sich
die
Menschenrechtsituation weltweit verschlechtert, ist
es höchste Zeit, dass sich all diejenigen Menschen,
die sich über diese Situation Gedanken machen, auf
den Plätzen Europas versammeln. Es ist höchste
Zeit, dass die westliche Welt ihre Bewohner ein
Bewusstsein für die Lebensbedingungen von
Hunderten Millionen Menschen entwickelt. Es ist
höchste Zeit, dass sich Europa und supranationale
Organisationen in Bezug auf die Verteidigung von
Minderheiten, nicht zuletzt der christlichen
Minderheit, klar positionieren und dass Europa
einen Europäischen Tag für die Freiheit von
unterdrückten Minderheiten und Völker ausruft.
Società Libera wendet sich an die Völker Europas
um von Berlin, Paris und Rom ausgehend eine riesige Bewegung zu starten, weil die Verteidigung der
Menschenrechte eine internationale Priorität
gemacht wird.
