Transocean Canada Drilling Services Ltd.,
par l’entremise de son représentant, a
déposé une demande en vue d’obtenir une
licence pour l’utilisation du « GSF GRAND
BANKS », une unité mobile de forage en
mer battant pavillon vanuatane, afin de
participer à des activités de forage pour
l’exploration et l’exploitation de pétrole, au
large de la côte est de Terre-Neuve-etLabrador, exclusivement dans la zone du
plateau continental, commençant le 1er
juillet 2013 et se terminant le 30 juin 2014.
Transocean Canada Drilling Services Ltd.,
applied, through its representative, for a
licence to use the “GSF GRAND BANKS”, a
Vanuatuan mobile offshore drilling unit, to
undertake drilling services for petroleum
exploration and development, off the east
coast of Newfoundland and Labrador,
exclusively in the continental shelf zone,
commencing on July 1, 2013 and ending on
June 30, 2014.
Au moment où la demande a été déposée, il
n’y avait pas d’unités mobiles de forage en
mer immatriculées au Canada. Par
conséquent, cette note d’information sera
envoyé en c.c. à la liste d’intervenants à titre
d’information seulement. L’Office émettra
ensuite une décision.
At the time of the filing of this application,
there were no Canadian-registered mobile
offshore drilling units. As a result, this
Information Note is issuing to the c.c. list of
stakeholders for information purposes only.
A determination will issue by the Agency.
