Welcome to the ABCs of Attraction!
We’re glad you’re with us and chose ABCs of Attraction to help you get your dating life in
order. In this package, there are several homework exercises, fashion tips, and more that are not
required, but HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you complete BEFORE your bootcamp. After
all, you are paying over $1000, so we want you to get the most out of the bootcamp.
One of the biggest regrets I hear from students is that they didn’t quite prepare for the
bootcamp. Often times they say, “I wish I prepared more for my bootcamp!” This is what this
guide is for. This guide is a concrete, step-by-step, no BS framework that will get you ready for your
bootcamp as long as you follow EXACTLY what this guide says to do.
Will it be difficult? Not terribly, but it will get you in the right state of mind and get lots of
the nitty-gritty stuff out of the way so myself and all of my staff can concentrate on the most
important part of this program: YOU.
While this homework is great to do, don’t feel that it’s absolutely necessary. You won’t be
totally lost in lecture if you just don’t have time to do it (guys signed up last minute). Just follow
instructions, try hard, give it your all, and have an open mind. You’ll be just fine 
Although not required, I highly recommend you print out this guide and physically WRITE

iv. Applying petroleum jelly to hands and feet before bed will soften hands
and soothe feet.
General Hygiene

The Canned Opener
WHAT IS A CANNED OPENER?
A canned opener is a routine/line used by Pick-Up-Artists use in order to begin
conversation with a target and/or the target’s group. We here at ABCs of Attraction KNOW that
the following openers WORK, as myself and my staff have tested these openers all around the
world. These openers are structured, and pre-written, and we teach these exact same openers at
every bootcamp.
Keep in mind that canned openers are training wheels. We don’t want you to depend on
them for the rest of your life, but we do want you to use them so you become more comfortable
opening!

The Kickstart:
“Cheers! (raise glass, or hand) My name’s ****, what’s yours? Well (girl’s name), you seem
friendly. My friends and I are celebrating my friend Sarah’s/JT’s/Gareth’s birthday. Don’t be a
stranger, stop by and say hello.”
You will be using the kickstart opener quite a bit during your bootcamp. MAKE SURE you
memorize it! Failure to memorize the kickstart will slow down your learning curve.
“I Love You”
You: Hey, quick question, what does it mean when a girl says, “I” “LOVE” “YOU,”* but only over
text message?
Girl: (response)
You: Ahh ok, the reason I’m asking is that it’s actually happening to my friend right over there, and
he’s only been dating this girl for 2 WEEKS.
Girl: (response)
You: Yeah, I told him not to worry about it until she tattoo’s his name on her ass.
*With the I-LOVE-YOU part, emphasize the I LOVE YOU.

You: Quick question, is it OK to wear jeans to a wedding?
Girl: No!
You: I see, the reason I’m asking is because my friend flew in today for a wedding and the airline
lost his luggage. All he has is some dark jeans and a really nice black blazer. Do you think that will
work?

You: *Transition to talk about weddings, fashion, airlines, marriage, etc.*
Ken and Barbie
You: Quick question, why do you think girlfriends are always trying to change the way their
boyfriends dress?

You: Here’s why I’m asking, you see that guy over there? *point to well dressed ABCs instructor or

You: He’s actually dating this girl named BARBIE, right? They’ve been dating for less than a
month and she’s trying to get him to change the way he dresses. But get this… She’s going for the
preppy look with pink polo shirts and popped collar. (PLAYFUL EXASPERATION AND
TEASING IN YOUR VOICE)
Girl: (response)
You: But let me ask you, does HE look like A KEN DOLL to you?
*With this opener, make sure you are emphasizing the UPPERCASE words.

Managing Approach Anxiety
APPROACH ANXIETY (AA)
On a scale of 1to 10, 1 being completely normal and 10 breaking down and crying in the
corner of a club, what is your Approach Anxiety like? _______
For your ABCs of Attraction bootcamp, we want you to get this number down to at LEAST
a 7. However, you will learn MUCH MORE if you can get your AA down to less than 4.
YOUR MISSION:
Approach 30 women a week until your AA comes down
a. You can practice your canned openers if you choose to(extra credit), but just
approaching and saying “hello” works just as well
b. This equates to a little less than 5 women/day
c. Do not be afraid of rejection – rejection happens to everyone!
d. Chatting up hired guns, bartenders, waitresses counts
e. Chatting up strippers does not count
f. Post your results on the ABCs of Attraction forum
(www.abcsofattraction.com/community)
i. Any feedback from your approaches will be looked at by our coaches and
staff.
g. Keep track of your approaches! Use the log sheet on the next page to track your

ATTRACTION SWITCH STORIES
PASSIVE VS ACTIVE VALUE
There’s a 2 types of value being perceived when women look at men. PASSIVE VALUE is
what was discussed in the “Suit Up!” section of the guide. Passive value is everything that happens
before you open your mouth, from physical attraction to hygiene and dress. ACTIVE VALUE is a
mixture of what/how you’re saying stuff and your mannerism/gestures.
In order to generate attraction, we have Attraction Switch Stories that we use in field while
we are in comfort with a lovely lady of our choice. In the program, you will be EXPECTED to
have a story ready to tell our instructors. Depending on how the instructors see fit, we will have you
tell us ONE attraction switch story.
Attraction Switch Stories are short, 1-2 minute stories about your life that convey your best
personality and lifestyle. One of my favorite stories I like to tell is how my Mom told me it’s OK to
date white girls when we were slap happy drunk in Vietnam, which shows that I’m close to my
mother. Another story I know one of my coaches likes to tell is of his Scuba diving trips in Thailand
and how he loves traveling and exploring new places. These short little snippets show a someone
more about you and make you seem, “more than meets the eye.”
KEYWORD LINKS
Keyword links are words that can trigger the beginning of an attraction switch story. If you
have a story about how you and your mother got drunk in Vietnam and talked about dating white
girls, good keyword links would be:
 Mother
 White girls
 Vietnam
 Got really drunk

 Dating
Anytime a girl brings up one of these words in conversation, we can easily transition to the
story by saying: “Speaking of Vietnam (Keyword Link!), my mother and I got really drunk at a bar
one night and…”
TYPES OF STORIES
Funny – Self explanatory, the story is simply a silly recollection of something that happened
with a friend, girlfriend, etc. Think outrageous frat-boy stories.
Vulnerable – A vulnerability story talks about your own weaknesses as a man. EVERYONE
has their own insecurities in their lives, but by having faults, it doesn’t seem like you’re a superman.
Ex: Your 8 year old niece tripped and broke her leg, so you called 911 to get an ambulance to her
and you were so worried about her for the rest of the day.
Achievement – Running races, getting job promotions, any sort of achievement (not Xbox) or
award that you worked your ass off for applies to this category.
Moral/Educational – These stories end in some sort of paradigm shift or “A-Ha!” moment,
like learning how to do CPR on someone in real life, or making a splint for a broken bone.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT
WRITE DOWN as many attraction switch stories as possible. If you are having trouble
thinking of attraction switch stories, then make a mental note of it. If you’re having trouble coming
up with a story for a certain attraction switch, this means that you are missing that particular
fragment of lifestyle. We advise you to adventure out and attempt to fill in the void 

*Write an actual story about YOU, not just a description of something
*Be as honest as possible. You may embellish and/or omit negative details, but don’t get too crazy
and throw in ninjas or exploding helicopters.
*Convey the best side of your life and personality, put your best foot forward!
*Concentrate on using visual and emotional word usage
*Tell stories that are fun, intriguing, and GIRL/EMOTIONALLY REVELANT
*Decide what TYPE of attraction switch you want it to be (Funny, Vulnerable, Achievement, or
Moral/Educational
*Make sure 2 to 5 stories are high energy, upbeat, and/or funny
*Identify your keyword links

Without bragging or trying too hard, you let it be known that you have been romantically/sexually
involved with women of high quality, beauty, and status. You have female friends and you are, more
importantly, good in bed. Think romantic or sexual stories without being obvious. Jealousy plotlines
also fall under this category.
Examples: First kiss, Interesting Valentine/date/sexual encounter, Model/stripper ex-girlfriend
(don’t brag!), Jealousy Plotline

Protection. Emotional/Financial are easily abused by user type women so tread carefully, but they
are good for creating a connection. If you are short or of light physique, conveying Physical
Protection is even more essential. While women are attracted to men of height/muscle, the REAL
underlying female need is: CAN YOU PHYSICALLY PROTECT HER FROM AGGRESSORS?
Examples: Taking care of your family’s needs, getting into a fight to protect someone, learning
(practical) martial arts, Military/police/fireman/medical experience, comforting someone when
they’ve lost a loved one

surfing, skydiving, motorcycles, etc. Having a unique high status lifestyle, having a zest and LOVE
of life.

People define and package you based off of what you say you do. And in general, women judge each
others’ pecking order through their men’s status, position, importance, prestige, visibility, risk, car,
house, luxuries, and- of course- how much money he makes. Even if it’s not well paying, it’s still
better to be of high status in your field versus being mediocre and average. Try to throw in both
Survival Value and Replication Value into your occupation IF you can.
Examples: Being good at what you do, having a unique or interesting job, high pay/status
occupation, owning your own business, avoiding gold diggers

Exaggerate a little to the point of absurdity to make your point and tickle her funny bone.
Examples: Something funny that happened to you or a friend, something hilarious on TV or in real
life, observational humor, funny comparisons of different things (males and females). AVOID
JOKES, use cocky and funny teasing and banter.

out there in material (gross, unbelievable, ridiculous) or conveyed with incredible high energy that
makes her energetic (and thus non-logical) as well.
Examples: Crazy frat-boy type college stories, times when you (don’t actually say it was you)
saw/did something disgusting, act out an event/story that was both physical and fun/exciting/crazy,
outrageous comments that could include overtly sexual, opinionated, energetic, rude, exaggerated,
asshole-esque, and even disgusting.

Examples: Pick something you’re good at and know well (avoid boring subjects like computer
programming and accounting), teach her how to salsa dance, teach her different cultures and/or
languages, if you’re a minority, share a piece of your culture with her in an interesting and open
minded manner.

so you gracefully refused, your own female stalker, times a girl took advantage of you, taking girls
home or to a hotel and treating them right, closeness with mom/sister(s)
