How to Locate and Run the Calibration Wizard
The first step of running the monochromator calibration is to make sure that the
SOLAAR software is not connected to the instrument. This can be accomplished
by either exiting from the software or by just disconnecting the software. To do
that you click on the action drop down menu and select disconnect (see picture
below.
You can reconnect the software once the calibration is done by clicking again on
the action drop down menu and selecting connect.

The initial screen of the Calibration Wizard is shown below. Follow the
instructions to complete the calibration. Make sure you check each box in turn
while following though the Calibration Wizard. You can select monochromator
Calibration, Burner height Calibration or Both.
If the calibration completes successfully the software will automatically update
the stored calibration in the spectrometer. If for some reason it fails, write down
the errors which appear and contact your local Thermo Fisher Scientific
Technical Support Office. If it does fail the software will NOT change or modify
the existing stored calibration in the spectrometer.
When the monochromator calibration is complete then close the OQTESTS
software and go back to running the standard SOLAAR software.
