The Small Business Assessment Monitoring, and Planning (STA MP) project will assist businesses ICT implementation obstacles, such as a lack of IT knowledge and/or capital for internal technological assessments. Businesses have an opportunity to have their ICT assessed by a qualified consultant. STAMP provides a framework to help business owners defin e their ICT objectives and ensure that the right technology, in relat ion to their business, is implemented to achieve the desired outcomes. The program provides 75% of the cost of the STAMP assessmen t, on the first $5,000 and 50% above the $5,000 to a maximum of $6,250. The consultant selected by the business will review all aspects of the business’ ICT operations and provide a report that will outline strengths and weaknesses and identify opportunities to impr ove ICT efficiencies. Productivity Assessment ic funding covers up to $4,000 (80%) of the cost of the operati onal assessment. The consultant selected by the firm uses a produc tivity assessment tool to review all aspects of the business’ operati ons and provides a report that outlines operational strengths and weakn esses and identifies opportunities to improve operational efficiencies. Imptementation Based on the recommendations of the productivity assessm ent, the firm can access up to $5,000 (80% of eligible costs) in funding support toward modernizing equipment, management training to improv e the work culture, and operational efficiencies among other things.
