Internship offer
The Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO is looking for an intern to assist the communication
and outreach team in its daily work. A mix of tasks in ocean policy research, external communication, correspondence
drafting, event planning and general administrative tasks guarantees a comprehensive experience at the heart of the
environmental activities of UNESCO.
The internship is based out of UNESCO headquarters in Paris (France), and will start in mid-November 2016 for a
minimum duration of 4 months.
Please note the following requirements for eligibility:
Solid background in communication
Interest in environmental and ocean related issues
Fluency in both English and French
Being enrolled in or recent graduate (< 1 year) from a university or technical degree programme

La Commission océanographique intergouvernementale de l’UNESCO recherche un stagiaire pour aider l’équipe en
charge de la communication dans son travail quotidien. Les activités du stagiaire associent recherche en politique de
l’océan, communication externe, rédaction de courriers, préparation d’évènements et tâches administratives pour une
expérience enrichissante au cœur des activités environnementales de l’UNESCO.
Le stage se déroulera au siège de l’UNESCO à Paris (France), à partir de mi-novembre 2016 et pour une durée
minimale de 4 mois.

Bases solides dans le secteur de la communication
Intérêt particulier pour les questions environnementales et océaniques
