ISORA is a series international symposium with goals to provide an international forum for scientists, researchers, educators, and practitioners to exchange ideas and approaches, to present research findings and state-of-the-art solutions, to share experiences on potentials and limits, and to open new avenues of research and developments, on all issues and topics related to the theories and applications of Operations Research. Theme of the ISORA’05 will be focused on “OR in the Global and Networked World”. We are particularly interested in submissions that report on experimental and applied research motivated by real-world problems. Theoretical and applied papers are expected to show convincingly the usefulness and efficiency of optimization algorithms discussed in a practical setting. Typical, but not exclusive, topics of interest are: Optimization theory, Algorithm analysis and design, Logistics Management, Telecommunication Networks, Bioinfomatics, Applications in industry, service, finance, business and biology. LANGUAGE The working language of the conference will be English. IMPORTANT DATES March 15, 2005 : The deadline for abstract submission 2 Groupe MODE – SMAI Avril 2005 WEB : http://gala.univ-perp.fr/~aussel/Mode/accueil.html April 15, 2005 : Acceptance notification July 1, 2005 : The deadline for full paper submission and early registration August 9-13, 2005 : ISORA’05, Lhasa REGISTRATION Registration fee is $480 USD before July 1, 2005 and $550USD after. All attendees should be registered. The registration fee will include a copy of the conference proceedings, welcome reception, conference banquet, lunches and dinners, local bus transportation and teas/coffee. Because of the Tibetan high-plateau climate conditions and for conference manageable resources, number of attendees is limited to no more than 60 and on-site registration is not possible. Early registration is strongly encouraged. Please look at the Registration Form for detailed information on payment arrangements.
