 Visites guidées de la seule station radar allemande derrière les plages du Débarquement aujourd’hui
préservée. Les volontaires de l’Association des Amis du Musée Radar font découvrir pendant 1h15 un
authentique radar allemand Würzburg et d’autres installations et bunkers. Tous les jours à 10h30 ; 12h00 ;
13h30 ; 15h00 et 16h30. Compris dans le prix d’entrée du musée. Ouvert tous les jours du 28 mai au 12 juin
de 10h à 18h (sauf le lundi jusqu’en septembre).
 Guided tours of the only preserved German radar station behind the Landing beaches, organised by the
volunteers of the Society of the Friends of Radar Museum. See authentic Würzburg radar on outdoor
display and other bunkers and installations. Every day: 11:00 am. ; 12:30 am. ; 2:00pm. ; 3:30 pm. ; 5:00
pm. Visit lasts 1h15. Visit included in the museum admission fee. Open every day from May 28th to June

 Les groupes de reconstitution du MVCG France présentent les plus belles pièces de leur collection avec
une exposition à Isigny-sur-Mer puis une parade et des démonstrations de mise à l’eau de véhicules
amphibies en soirée à Grandcamp-Maisy (sous réserve). Un moment idéal pour admirer des véhicules
d’époque et échanger avec des passionnés !
 The conservation groups from MVCG France show off the finest pieces in their collection with an
exhibition in Isigny-sur-Mer and then a parade followed of amphibian vehicles launching demonstrations in
the evening in Grandcamp-Maisy (subject to practicability). The perfect moment to admire vintage vehicles
and exchange with passionate people!

l'église. Tables à disposition et grillades sur place. 12h15 : étape des 300 cyclistes de la Voie de la Liberté à
la Borne 0, devant la mairie. Après-midi : parade américaine en ville avec 500 participants. 18h-19h :
concert de la Paix avec deux chorales américaines (église). 19h : banquet de la Liberté (marché couvert) en
présence des vétérans et des militaires parachutistes qui assureront le grand parachutage du dimanche.

 Une marche d’environ 20 km vous propose de refaire l’itinéraire du 47e Commando débarqué sur la
plage de Gold, près d'Asnelles, au matin du 6 juin et qui eut pour objectif la libération de Port-en-Bessin.
Commentaires en français et en anglais de l'histoire de cette opération militaire. Départ d’Asnelles, parking
principal, à côté du bunker. Arrivée Port-en-Bessin.
 A 21 km walk proposes you to retrace the route of the 47 Royal Marine Commando landed on ‘Gold
Beach’ near Asnelles on the morning of 6 June 1944, whose aim was to liberate Port-en-Bessin.
Commentaries in both French and English of the story of their mission. Start from Asnelles, main car park
by the bunker. Arrival in Port-en-Bessin.

cinquantaine de parachutistes. Démonstration d’hélitreuillage en mer. Show aérien de la petite Patrouille
de France. 21 h : spectacle Jazz Band. Projection de film sur Ecran Géant.
23 h 30 : feu d’artifice.
 Place du 6 Juin. 10 a.m. : open-air mass. Afternoon 4 p.m. : Franco-British ceremony in the presence of
approximately one hundred veterans. 5 p.m. : antique fighter planes parade. Parachute jump by about fifty
parachutists. Demo of a helicopter rescue above the sea. Air show by the small Patrouille de France. 9 p.m.:
jazz Band show. Film projection on a giant screen.

 Exposition illustrant la libération du village par les Canadiens et les Anglais, puis l’installation du studio
de la BBC dans la Tour carrée du château. Evocation du quartier général de Montgomery au château de
Creullet, opérationnel dès le 8 juin 1944, où il accueillit notamment Churchill, Einsenhower et George VI.
Les Anciennes Halles, Place Paillaud, à côté de l’Hostellerie Saint-Martin.
 Exhibition about the village’s liberation by the Canadian and the British soldiers which was followed by
the installation of the BBC studio inside the castle square tower. Evocation of Montgomery’s headquarters
at the Creullet castle set up since June, 8th 1944, where he welcomed Churchill, Eisenhower and George VI.

 L’exposition présente des informations et des témoignages inédits, ainsi que la mise en scène d’objets
originaux, jamais présentés à ce jour au public. Au-delà de la présentation de la vie dans le camp,
l’exposition montre également que l’objectif était la rééducation de jeunes allemands à la démocratie.
 The exhibition shows unseen information and testimonies just as the staging of original items never
presented to any audience. Beyond the presentation of the camp daily life, the exhibition also shows that
the aim was the rehabilitation of young Germans to democracy.

 December 1944, Hitler orders a German offensive campaign to stop Allied advance. The surprise attack
caught them completely off guard: it was sudden and quick. This exhibition presents this operation, the
Way of Liberty from Normandy to Bastogne and the major role of General Patton.
