Program Terms, Procedure & Conditions:
1. This program is effective from October 1, 2016 to November 30, 2016. Retail sales only. Re-distribution sales are not
eligible.
2. Eligible models are listed on the previous page. Other 18V 2 tool combo kits may be eligible with prior approval.
3. Dealers participating in the program agree to purchase, promote and advertise eligible products in accordance
and compliance with Makita Canada’s Brand Value & Minimum Advertised Price Policy. Dealers that cannot
accept this condition will not be eligible for reimbursement through this program.
4. Claiming procedure:
1. Dealer advertises and sells eligible tools to end users.
2. Retail sales invoice (receipt) must show the applicable discount given to the end user at time of purchase.
3. After November 30, 2016 but prior to December 23, 2016, dealers must submit the following information to their
account manager or territory sales rep.
1. Photocopies of all invoices
showing the eligible tool(s) sold and the applicable discount applied to each

PROCESS
2. A debit memo, request for credit or summary POS report showing the total value of instant discounts given
and being claimed by the dealer.
3. Claims received after December 31, 2016 will not be processed or reimbursed.
4. Upon receipt of documentation, Makita staff must submit claim to Makita Whitby for processing. Funding is
supported by National DSF. Claims received after December 31, 2016 will not be processed or reimbursed.
5. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks to process and apply credits.
5. Maximum claim and country of purchase: Dealer claims are subject to audit and review. Only eligible products purchased
from Makita Canada are eligible for this program. Products purchased from outside Canada or from third parties are not
eligible. Unless otherwise negotiated, the maximum number of eligible tools claimed cannot exceed the number of eligible
tools purchased by the participating dealer from September 1 to September 27, 2016. For example, if a dealer purchases
100 units of DLX2005M between September 1 and 27, 2016, the maximum claim that will be reimbursed is $5000 (i.e. $50
x 100 combo kits sold).
6. This program cannot be mixed or combined with other programs. Re-distribution sales are not eligible for this discount.
7. Other conditions may apply. Program subject to change and/or correction.
