EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY : HIV EDUCATOR
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Ensure the development, promotion, facilitation, and revision of activities relating to the prevention of HIV,
Hepatitis and other STIs through interactive workshops and kiosks
Ensure the maintenance, updating and production of educational materials
Maintain existing partnerships and develop new ones
In collaboration with the Coordinator of Volunteers, train, supervise, and support E4P volunteers
Write reports and maintain statistics
Participate in staff meetings and trainings
Perform other related duties as requested by the Program Manager/Executive Director
REQUIREMENTS :
University education in Social Sciences, Sexology, Social Work, or a related discipline, or the equivalent in
community-based experience
Demonstrated experience developing and leading projects
Experience and knowledge of HIV/AIDS
Knowledge of sexual health and prevention with at-risk youth and men who have sex with men (MSM)
Strong group facilitation skills
Bilingualism (English and French)
Ability to work autonomously and in a team
Excellent organization and time management skills
Experience supervising and working with volunteers

RESPONSABILITÉS :
Entretenir les partenariats établis et en développer de nouveaux (avec le Directeur général
et la Directrice du Département de l’éducation et de la prévention)
Répondre aux demandes d’information sur le VIH-Sida, les hépatites et autres ITSS
provenant des individus, étudiants, compagnies et organismes
Effectuer des activités portant sur la prévention du VIH-Sida, des hépatites et d’autres ITSS
Former et superviser des employés, stagiaires et bénévoles affectés au département
Assurer la pertinence et la quantité de dépliants et d’autre matériel écrit au sein de
l’organisme
Écrire les rapports sur les activités du département
Assister aux réunions de l’équipe de gestion
Accomplir d’autres tâches déléguées par le Directeur général
EXIGENCES :
Diplôme universitaire en communications, sciences sociales ou discipline connexe, ou
l’équivalent en expérience communautaire
Expériences reliées au VIH/Sida
Connaissances informatiques
Bilinguisme
Capacité de travail autonome et en équipe
Excellente organisation et gestion du temps
