Installation
1. Power off any devices which you will attach to your Yak Modem.
2. Connect the DSL line to the LINE jack using the provided grey RJ11
(telephone) cable. The DSL WAN line connection is configured
for connection by default.
3. <Optional> Connect phone to the PHONE port.
4. Connect PC, hub, or switch to the ETHERNET port. Either a straight-through
yellow Ethernet cable (provided) or a crossover cable can be used. The Modem
automatically determines the type of signal required.
5. Attach the power adapter. The supplied power adapter may look different than the one illustrated here.
6. Turn on the Modem and any devices you have attached to it. The Modem is configured by default to communicate with devices on the
LAN ports.
7. Wait 5-10 minutes for 3 or more green LED lights to appear on your Yak Modem. Once lit, you are ready to start using your Yak High
Speed Internet service.
NOTE: Slots and openings in the unit are provided for ventilation. To ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from
overheating, these slots and openings must not be blocked or covered. This unit is also certified to operate effectively under the following
conditions: Operating Temperature: 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F).

1. Mettez tous les périphériques hors tension afin de vous connecter au modem.
2. Branchez la ligne DSL à la prise « LINE » (« Ligne ») en utilisant le câble de
téléphone gris RJ11. La connexion de la ligne DSL WAN est configurée pour
connexion par défaut.
3. Facultatif : Branchez le téléphone dans le port « PHONE » (« Téléphone »).
4. Branchez le PC (l’ordinateur), le concentrateur ou passez au port Ethernet.
Vous pouvez utiliser soit un câble Ethernet jaune direct (fourni) ou un câble croisé.
Le modem détermine automatiquement le type de signal requis.
5. Fixez l’adaptateur d’alimentation. L’adaptateur d’alimentation fourni peut paraître différent de celui illustré ici.
6. Allumez le modem et tout autre périphérique qui y est attaché. Le modem est configuré par défaut pour communiquer avec les
périphériques sur les ports LAN.
7. Attendez 5-10 minutes, jusqu’à ce que 3 lumières DEL vertes ou plus apparaissent sur votre modem Yak. Lorsqu’allumées, vous êtes
prêts à commencer à utiliser votre service Internet haute vitesse de Yak.
NOTE : Les fentes et ouvertures de l’appareil servent à la ventilation. Afin d’assurer un fonctionnement fiable du produit et pour le protéger
de la surchauffe, ces fentes et ouvertures ne doivent pas être bloquées ou couvertes. Cette unité est également certifiée pour fonctionner
efficacement dans les conditions suivantes : température de fonctionnement : 0°C à 40°C (32°F à 104°F).
