UWL surfboards is a french surfboards manufacturer dedicated to only high quality custom surfboards. Created in 1991, our factory
is 700 m², making surfboards with the latest technologies for the Europeen market. UWL is progressive and very open minded to any

Shape : Flat rocker, cuillère + d’un gros
vee double concave.
Commentaire : Le King size est une
version «longboard miniaturisé». On
retrouve les qualités de confort d’un
longboard: take off très rapide, très bonne
stabilité malgré sa petite taille, même de
petits noserides sont faciles à réaliser!
La version hydro squid est incroyable en
terme de shape et de maniabilité.
Shape : Flat rocker, spoon with a huge vee
x2 concave.
Comment : The King size is a «miniaturized
longboard», easy take off, good paddling,
stable, noseride and hang five despite
its very small size! There is two King size
versions, the first one is voluminous with a
spoon, the second with a squid on the tail,
a pronounced tail lift and a spoon. The
Hydro squid is incredible in terms of shape
and maneuverability.

MINI CHALLENGER
Shape : Concave, flat et double
concave sous le pied arrière + kick tail
Commentaire : Le mini-challenger est
une réplique en miniature de notre
célèbre longboard CHALLENGER. Elle
n’est pas fait pour faire des noses, mais
plutot des manoeuvres radicales. Avec
son bottom shape et son rocker, cette
planche est très rapide. Son kicktail
offre la possibilité d’effectuer rollers et
virages sérrés. Un must-have pour tous
les longboarders modernes.
Shape : Concave, flat to double concave +
kick tail
Comment : The Mini-Challenger is a sclaed
down version of our famous longboard The
Challenger. It is not a noserider, but it is a
high performance board. Its bottom shape
and rocker give it lot of speed, its kick tail
allow it to do tight turns and big rollers. The
Mini-Challenger is a must have to any high
performance longboarders.
PERFORMER
Shape : Belly puis vee double concave.
Commentaire : Le Performer est le seul
mini-malibu de notre gamme. Comme
son nom l’indique c’est un modèle
pour un surfeur qui recherche une
planche polyvalente et performante, ce
n’est pas une planche pour débutant.
Roller, gros cut back, sa grande
maniabilité lui fait définitivement
oublier sa grande taille.
Shape : Belly and vee double concave.
Comment: The Performer is the only MiniMalibu of the Uwl range. As its name
suggests, it is a model for a surfer who
search a versatile and powerful board,
it’s not a beginner’s board. Roller, huge
cut back, the maneuvrability will make you
forget its large size.

Commentaire : La Door est une planche
très «portante», ses dimensions
sont extrêmes, plus de 22.8’’ x 2.75’’
(comme un longboard) pour une
8’0’’. Équipée en quad vous voilà aux
commandes d’une planche rapide avec
un drive très agréable, l’aileron central
en moins. En configuration ailerons
2+1, c’est un mini longboard, très facile,
très stable malgré sa petite taille!

Comment : The Door is a «LARGE» board,
extreme dimensions, more than 22.8’’ x
2.75’’ for 8’0’’. Set up with quad system,
the board is accelerating with a good drive
without center fins. In 2+1 fins set up, it’s
a mini Longboard, very easy to surf, very
stable despite its small size.

Shape : Rocker faible au nose, kick tail,
cuillère, flat vee double concave.
Commentaire : Le All Around est le
longboard que nos teamrideurs surfent
le plus. Polyvalent, il permet à la fois
de noserider mais aussi de surfer très
agressif, c’est ce que l’on réclame en
compétition.
C’est un longboard plutôt destiné à des
surfeurs expérimentés.
Shape : Low nose rocker, kick tail. Spoon,
flat vee double concave.
Comment : The All Around is our team
rider’s longboard, versatile, good for both
nose rider or aggressive, definitely a good
competition board. Rather intended for
experienced surfers.

Commentaire : Le Challenger est un
longboard vraiment moderne, c’est
le meilleur longboard pour toutes les
manœuvres radicales! Le Challenger
II est une version plus agressive du
Challenger I. Le double winger, qui
découpe le tail, rend la planche encore
plus maniable.A essayer sans attendre
pour ceux qui sont en manque de
rollers à midi.

Comment : The Challenger is a really
modern longboard. The best longboad for
all aggressive maneuvers ! The Challenger
II is an aggressive version of the I, the
double winger cut the tail and make the
board really aggressive, try this version for
vertical roller.

Commentaire : Le Fusion, un modèle
très polyvalent, permet des nose rides
et des manœuvres variées: voici son
programme pour toutes conditions, et

Commentaire : La Low Ride, un
longboard moderne destiné aux
petites à moyennes conditions: facile

LOCAL RIPPER
Shape : un flat concave deck , des rails
bevels pincés.
Commentaire : Pour tous niveaux ,
selon la taille commandée. La FAT FAST
est confortable, très très très maniable
et surprend par sa réactivité. Plus large
qu’une shortboard, elle accélère dès le
take-off assurant une prise de vague
facile dans les petites conditions
La FAT FAST a consommer avec
modération ( d’après nos concurrents ?!)

backfoot Comment : The Local Ripper is
the user friendly and fast board you need!
Its big width and volume is helped by a
tapered round pintail, that give it an easy
and effortless turning board. The Local
Ripper is a daily driver to surf close to the
curl. This board has to be ridden very short
because it keeps at lot of volume !

que la FATFAST, la SLIMFAST est un

by our famous Kingsize with more
performance in mind. It is made to be
ridden short, the wide nose entry gives
a quick effortless takeoff, and allow the

shortboard tail is made to hit the lips and
push strong rollers in the smallest waves.
The Rascal can handle some hollow head

Error has to be surfed like your every

Commentaire : Le namazu lui aussi
a reçu une petite amélioration,
un double concave au nose afin
d’améliorer encore plus le take off . La
planche part comme une balle, l’eau
s’engouffre sous la planche comme
dans une turbine.
Le Namazu reste le meilleur poisson
pour attraper tout ce qui passe, avec
lui chaque session est inoubliable.
Rame, take-off, prise de vitesse, tout est
trop simple, planche réservée pour les
petites à moyennes conditions.

Comment : The 17 is an every day
shortboard. It is inspired by the Buddy2
what is one of our best sellers small wave
high performance shortboard. The 17 has
been tuned and refined for more versatily

Seventeen is a board for any surfers that

Commentaire : Cette nouvelle planche
est une combinaison de plusieurs
modèles pour créer un hybrid.
Agressive dans de petites conditions
grâce à son winger qui permet de
casser les courbes et performant dans
des conditions plus puissantes grâce à
son round tail qui permet de tenir de
gros carves. Convient bien à un surfeur
backfoot qui a un «local spot" constitué
la plus part du temps de vagues
moyennes mais qui peut recevoir de
bonnes vagues par grosses houles.
XL FISH
Shape : Double concave vers un
profond simple concave sur l’arrière
Commentaire : La XL Fish est une
machine à surfer pour les petites
vagues.
Le XL Fish n’est pas le fish classique à
longues courbes, c’est une petite board
performante pour déchirer les petites
conditions, particulièrement destinée
à un surfeur de grand gabarit ou avec
de gros appuis.
Shape : Middle rocker, generous outline,
boxy rail with sharp tucked under edge, vee
double concave from the nose to the tail.
Comment : Revisited for more performances.
The Buddy 2 combines several advantages
for small surf conditions dramatically. A
nose more smaller with more rocker, an
extended tail is marked with a bump and a
bottom shape evolved with a triple concave.
An excellent board for small to medium
conditions for an experienced surfer.

Dog de tout le menu, idéal pour ripper
dans le petit à moyen avec une vraie
shortboard, ta meilleure amie même
quand c’est pourri (ou même quand
c’est tout petit).

winger .
Comment : The Legion is a new model,
aggressive in small conditions with the
wingers to quickly break curves. And the
round makes it suitable for powerful wave
and long carves. Suitable to a powerful
back foot surfer that like medium surf and
for the odd heavy swell.
Shape : Deep simple concave for maximum
speed.
Comment: Fish XL is a machine for
surfing small waves. The XL Fish is not
the classic fish for long curves, but a
small performance board to tear small
conditions, especially for a large gauge
surfer or powerfull stances.

Commentaire : Le Monster fins, un
quad élaboré avec nos team riders, est
une formidable board qui te permettra
de surfer beaucoup de conditions
différentes avec un style impeccable,
tout en carving. La version 2 a reçue les
modifications de plusieurs team riders
. Nous avons légèrement augmenté
les rockers pour donner à la planche
un effet plus skaty , pour des courbes
encore plus dans la poche mais sans
pour autant pénaliser le take off.
Le tail s’est élargi pour une meilleure
portance dans les sections molles,
ainsi que l’accentuation du bump pour
conserver sa très bonne maniabilité.

The BUDDY 80’S
Shape : Rocker moyen, outline généreux,
rail boxy bas avec edge marqué, vee
double concave du nose au tail.
Commentaire : La Buddy 2 combine
plusieurs atouts pour surfer de petites
conditions radicalement. D’abord le
nose à 1 pouce c’est réduit pour un plus
grand contrôle pied avant (engagement
des bottoms serrés ou de roller) et plus
de rocker au nose pour mieux casser les
courbes et enchaîner les manœuvres sans
transition. Le tail s’est élargi pour un surf
plus backfoot, le bump marqué aide à la
maniabilité. Le bottom shape a un triple
concave qui commence avec un double
triangulaire au nose pour favoriser le take
off puis un triple pied arrière pour accélérer
comme une fusée. Une excellente board
pour les petites à moyennes conditions
pour un surfeur expérimenté.

Commentaire : La 17 est un shortboard
de tous les jours, elle s’inspire de la Buddy
II, l’un de nos meilleurs modèles auquel
nous avons apporté des modifications
pour une utilisation «toutes conditions"…
L’idée de départ était d’avoir une seule
planche pour tout faire dans notre
région (50cm à 2m). La 17 est destinée
aux surfeurs de tous gabarits, cherchant
une shortboard confortable mais hyper
radicale. elle est née du mix d’une Buddy
II et d’une Trooper, elle combine un
profond triple concave (identique à la
Buddy II), un outline plus généreux que
celui d’une Trooper et des rails et un tail
proche de ceux d’une vraie shortboard.

Comment : the C-Major is a high performance
shortboard for the small waves but for those
who doesn’t want a too flat or to thick board.
It has to be ridden in similar dimensions than
your regular shortboard. It is made for very
tight turns and radical surf but its outline and
slightly flatter rocker allow it to surf in mellow
waves. Perfect for big guys !

SEVENTEEN
Shape : La planche a un profond triple
concave triangulaire identique à celui de
notre planche performance : la seventeen
Commentaire : La C-Major est La
shortboard High Performance qui
cherchent une planche performante
dans les petites conditions mais qui ne
veulent pas une planche trop épaisse
ou trop plate.
Elle se surfe 2’’ à 3’’ plus courte que
votre shortboard classique. Elle se
comporte comme votre shortboard
avec virages serrés et agressifs, mais
son rocker plat lui permettra de
passer n’importe quelle section molle !
Elle convient aussi très bien aux gros
gabarits.
RASCAL
Shape : Concave pied avant et vee
au tail
Commentaire : Voilà une planche
rapide et facile à la rame. Sa largeur et
son volume sont compensés par son
round pintail afin de lui permettre de
tourner rapidement et sans effort.
Elle sera idéale pour le surf de tous les
jours et pour se caller au plus creux
de la vague. Attention cette planche
se surfe très courte car elle garde
beaucoup de volume.

EASY RIDER
Shape : Rocker modéré, vee double
concave, double winger.
Commentaire : La Next Step est une
version beaucoup plus performante
de la Easy Rider. Elle s’adresse à un
surfeur qui a eu une bonne expérience
du surf mais qui n’a plus le temps de
pratiquer autant qu’avant. Elle permet
de conserver un bon niveau car toutes
les manoeuvres sont possibles. Une
planche très maniable grâce à son
double winger.

TROOPERS
Shape : Middle Rocker, vee double
concave, double winger.
Comment : The Next Step is the
performance version from the Easy Rider,
for a experienced surfer but has no
time to practice as much as before. This
board maintain a good level because the
maneuvers are all possible. Good control
with the double wingers.

Commentaire : The Darkwater c’est
le gun pour toutes les conditions plus
sérieuses, quand le take off avec la
Troopers devient trop «late». Plus
longue, plus rassurante, stable, avec
des directions très franches : c’est la
board pour se sentir à l’aise dans de
grosses vagues.

progression. Les canards sont
enfin accessibles! La prise en main
est très rapide et grâce à son Vee
