Brief historic of PEPA
PEPA: Pleaders of Children and Elderly People at risk is a non Governmental Organization created
in 2005 and started its activities officially in 2007 in the Democratic Republic of Congo, North
Kivu Province in Goma City,
Created as a local Association to plead for the Rights of Children and Elderly People, PEPA was
working with the Parliament of Children of North Kivu.
During Civil Wars that killed more than 6 million Congolese people, PEPA served many people
victim and displaced because of wars in Eastern DR.Congo.
Then, by the Initiator Appolinaire ZAGABE, PEPA grown and had many activities with some
national and International Non Governmental Organizations in DR.Congo, for the sake of the
Human dignity.
Actually, With the vision, PEPA has expended its activities in Uganda, authorized by the
Government of Uganda to work in Uganda,
Breve Historique de PEPA
PEPA : Les Plaideurs des Enfants et des Personnes âgées, est une Organisation Non
Gouvernementale créee en 2005 et commencer officiellement ses activites en 2007 en République
Démocratique de Congo dans la Province du Nord Kivu, ville de Goma.
Cree comme une Association locale , Sans But Lucratif( ASBL) avec l’objectif de Défendre les
droits des Enfants et des Personnes du 3eme Age en association avec le Parlement d’enfants du
Nord Kivu et d’autres organisations/associations locale et Nationales de la RD.Congo.
Pendant la guerre civil qui a déjà fait plus de 6 millions des morts en RD.Congo, l’organisation
PEPA a servi des nombreux de Congolais victims de la guerre a l’Est du Pays.
Alors, par son initiataire ,Mr Appolinaire ZAGABE, PEPA a elargi les activites en collaboration
avec d’autres organisations Locales et Nationales et Internationales en RD.Congo pour le bien etre
de la Dignite de la Personne humaine.
Actuellement, la vision de PEPA continue , et PEPA vient d’expendre ses activites en Ouganda, et a
ete autorisée par le gouvernement Ougandais d’exercer les activites sur son territoire.
