Le laboratoire de Pathology de l'Hopital Bonssecours Cork, Ireland cherche en urgence un
pathologiste pour un poste Temps Plein ou Temps Partiel de Consultant Spécialiste en
Histopathologie. Le poste comprend une activité clinique avec possibilité de participation aux
RCP (MDT meeting). Le Service comprend 3 pathologistes. L'activité, ciblée sur la
cancérologie, est polyvalente intéressant presque tous les organes à l'exception de la
neuropathologie et de la pathologie pédiatrique, pas d'autopsie. Le poste proposé concerne
plus spécifiquement les pathologies gastro-intestinale, tumorale cutanée, urologique et
mammaire. Une expérience dans ces domaines serait souhaitable.
Les candidats doivent remplir les conditions de qualifications requises pour l'exercice de la
médecine en Irelande (HSE/National Hospitals Office guidelines).

être régulièrement inscrit au registre général des médecins du Medical Council of
Ireland
Et
(b)
posséder la qualification de MRC Path ou un équivalent de formation
(c)
être inscrit ou admissible sur le registre de spécialité du Medical Council of Irelande
dans la spécialité Histopathologie.
Le laboratoire est entièrement accrédité pour la norme ISO15189

12 MONTH CONTRACT
FULL TIME/PART TIME PRIVATE PRACTICE
Laboratory of Pathology, Bonsecours Hospital, Cork, Ireland is seeking for a consultant
specialist in Histopathology, full time or part-time. The post includes a clinical activity with
participation at the MDT meeting. The laboratory includes 3 pathologists. The activity,
targeted at the cancer diagnosis, is general-purpose interesting almost all the organs with the
exception of the neuropathology and of the pediatric pathology, no autopsy. The proposed
post concerns more specifically the gastro-intestinal, tumoral cutaneous, urologic and breast
pathologies; an experience in these domains would be desirable.

minimum requirements will be those needed under HSE/National Hospitals Office guidelines
which require;
(a) Full registration in the General Register of Medical Practitioners maintained
by the Medical Council in Ireland or entitlement to be so registered,
And
(b) The possession of the MRC Path. or a qualification equivalent thereto,
And
(c) Inclusion on or eligibility to be included on the division of histopathology of
the Register of Medical Specialists maintained by the Medical Council in
Ireland.
