The Administration is seeking applications from
persons interested in the part-time position of
Chef at Government House.
The successful applicant will need to have
demonstrated experience in and knowledge of
cooking and food preparation; efficient and
effective management of a kitchen to provide high
quality and consistent outcomes; a proven ability
to maintain work areas in an appropriately clean
and hygienic condition; proven ability to plan
meals and develop menus; TAFE or equivalent
qualifications in food preparation, safety and
handling and a sound knowledge of hygiene and
occupation health and safety requirements in a
food preparation environment with the ability to
apply these in the workplace; experience in the
management of stock and food items including
purchasing and stocktaking.
