Im Bereich „Neue Fernsehkonzepte“
wird der Ultra HD-Bildschirm neu genutzt.
Am Beispiel von Fussball- und KonzertProduktionen erlebt der Zuschauer diese
Veranstaltungen völlig neu. Ultra HD vereint
die Vorteile des „vor Ort sein“ mit den unterschiedlichen Perspektiven, Wiederholungen
und Zeitlupen einer modernen TV-Berichterstattung.
The „New TV Concepts“ area demonstrates
a new use of the Ultra HD screen.
The viewer can experience the example soccer
and concert production in a whole new way.
Ultra HD combines the benefits of „being
there“ with various perspectives, replays and
slow motion shots of modern TV coverage.

Der Bereich „Satellitenübertragung und
Empfang (HEVC)“ verdeutlicht den Stand
der Entwicklung anhand des SES Ultra HDDemokanals (über ASTRA 19.2° Ost).
Im neuen Standard HEVC enkodierte
Ultra HD-Inhalte der Genre Sport, Film und
Dokumentation werden mit einem Prototypen
Ultra HD/ HEVC DVB-S2-Receiver von Technicolor empfangen.
The „Satellite Transmission and
Reception (HEVC)“ area demonstrates the
latest developments in this technology using
the SES Ultra HD demo channel (via ASTRA
19.2° East). Ultra HD sports, movies and
documentary content, encoded in the new
HEVC standards, are received by a prototype
Ultra HD/HEVC DVB-S2 set-top box from
Technicolor.

wird gezeigt, wie dreidimensionales Fernsehen
(3D von der höheren Auflösung bei Ultra HD
(4K) profitiert: Das kann die Entwicklung
von heutigem 3DTV mit Brille zu autostereoskopischem 3DTV (brillenlos) beschleunigen.
The „Ultra HD (4K) meets 3D“ area
highlights how 3D will benefit from the higher
resolution that Ultra HD (4K) provides: this
could speed up development of the current
stereoscopic 3DTV to auto-stereoscopic 3DTV
(glasses-free).
