Services At the base On spot, small local shops are proposing food, beverages and ice. Several local restaurants located around will please Thai food amateurs. On the docks, « Living Room » will probably be your choice for breakfast, café croissant. Malls Supermarkets are 30 KM away form the base (Phuket town); all of them are located in the same area, LOTUS, BIG C, & TOPS. (A provisioning list is available upon request). They are a lot of cyber-cafés almost everywhere. Mobile phone works very well, however it worth to buy a Thai Sim card, (1 USD about 31 Bahts), it’s cheaper (you can call and be called without paying roaming.
