EMC/Pivtorak of Kyiv (Ukraine) is releasing two new 1:43
models, which I had already mentioned in Newsletter Nr. 4/2015, namely the
Mercedes 28/95HP from 1924, more exactly the first version of the model, the
open tourer. The actual car is on display at the “Cité de l’Automobile” (formerly
known as the Schlumpf Collection), in Mulhouse, France.
The second model by EMC is the armour-plated 1940 Mercedes-Benz 770 (W
150) “Aktion P” in the open Tourer version, as it is on exhibit at the war museum in
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Come to think of it, this armour-plating was an exercise in
futility, what good indeed would it have done, had someone lobbed a grenade into it
for example? As well, the gas-tank wasn’t armoured either…It should really have
been called “Aktion F”…like “Action Feel Good”….
Both models are available from ER-models in Moscow ([email protected]) or from
pb-scale models in Seattle (WA) ([email protected]).
As far as prices are concerned, well…as the old saying goes: “if you have to ask, you
can’t afford it…” Think in terms of around 450 USD (+ shipping). For that price you
even get two swastikas thrown in for free. You do the explaining at Customs!
Von EMC kommen zwei neue Modelle in 1:43 heraus, die ich bereits in Newsletter Nr.
4/2015 erwähnt habe, nämlich den Mercedes 28/95PS von 1924, genauer gesagt die
erste Version des Modells, als offener Tourer. Das Vorbild ist in der "Cité de
l'Automobile" (früher als Schlumpf Sammlung bekannt), in Mulhouse, Frankreich,
ausgestellt.
Das zweite 1:43 Modell von EMC ist der gepanzerte Mercedes-Benz 770 (W 150)
"Aktion P" von 1940 in der offenen Tourer-Version, so wie er im Kriegsmuseum in
Ottawa, Ontario, Kanada, steht. Wenn man sich das mal überlegt, so war diese
Panzerung ein Muster an Sinnlosigkeit, wozu in der Tat wäre die Panzerung gut
gewesen, hätte jemand eine Handgranate in den offenen Wagen geworfen, zum
Beispiel? Desgleichen war der Benzintank nicht gepanzert...“Aktion P” hätte
eigentlich "Aktion S" heißen sollen... wie “Aktion Selbstbetrug”.
Beide Modelle sind von ER-Modellen in Moskau ([email protected]) oder von pbModelle in Seattle (WA) ([email protected]) erhältlich.
Was die Preise betrifft, na gut ... wie das alte Sprichwort lautet: "Wer nach dem Preis
fragen muss, kann sich’s nicht leisten“. Mit rund 450 USD (+ Versand) muss man
rechnen. Zwei Hakenkreuze-Standarten bekommt man sogar gratis dazu. Den
anschließenden Ärger beim Zoll muss man selbst ausbaden   

версия этого автомобиля в открытом виде. Настоящий автомобиль выставлен в
“Cité de l’Automobile” (более известном Schlumpf Collection), в Mulhouse, France.
Вторая модель EMC – это бронированный Mercedes-Benz 770 (W 150) “Aktion P”
1940 года также в открытой версии, оригинал выставлен в военном музее в
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Когда задумываешься о том, что он бронирован,
понимаешь, что это была полная бессмыслица, невзирая на качество брони, что
будет если просто бросить гранату? Также бензобак не был бронирован … Его бы
в реальности следовало назвать “Aktion F”…как “Action Feel good”….
Что же касается цен, как говорит одна старая поговорка: Если Вы спрашиваете
цену, значит она Вам не по карману… Думаю, в районе 450 долларов плюс
доставка. За эту цену Вы даже получаете две свастики. Думаю, будете
объясняться на таможне .

Vector in Kyiv seems in a hurry. He hasn’t released the Bundeswehr Mercedes-Benz
LG315 4x4 truck yet, but he is already following it up with the 1:43 LG315 4X4 firetruck. These trucks were originally Bundeswehr fire trucks, but once decommissioned
they were painted in red, and found their way into many a small German city’s
volunteer fire-department, where they continued their service faithfully for many
additional years.
Vector went into the details, even with a winch that is not just molded!
This model of the LG315 FW (sometimes also described as a LG 315 FW TLF16) too,

sie weiterhin ihren Dienst für viele weitere Jahre verlässlich absolvierten.
Vector hat sich mit den Details Mühe gemacht, z.B. auch mit einer Winde, die nicht
nur gegossen ist! Dieses Modell des LG 315 FW (das manchmal auch als LG 315 FW
TLF16 bezeichnet wird) kann ebenfalls bei pb-scalemodels in Seattle, WA. bestellt
werden ([email protected]).

Besides these trucks, Vector is also releasing a new version of the “Nürburg” Tourer,
this time with its roof fully closed.
Thankfully, Vector has taken into account at least some of the criticism and made
some changes, yet apparently he cannot – supposedly for technical reasons –
improve the bumpers. Nevertheless, the overall looks of the model has somewhat
improved. As a closed tourer, it is available in black. As a “Coupe de ville” it is now
also available in blue.
For kings, queens, business tycoons, Mafiosi and assorted politicians, etc., there now
is – believe it or not - the Vector “Nürburg” ambulance: total comfort, but sitting
only! Now, that’s class!! Incredible but true: Vector has now, on all its Nürburgs,
seemingly inserted the rear-view mirrors into, yes, into the spare wheels. How are
they held in place ? Is it glue? What a joke! Is it a mirror mounted on a steel spike
of sorts, which is then jabbed into the now totally deflated spare-wheel, or what ?
Help, I can’t stop laughing!
Finally, Vector re-issues the 1926-28
Mercedes-Benz L¾ (originally made by “Master 43” of Moscow, back in 2009) in a
somewhat bizarre red-cross tourer version. Is it a troop transporter for a squad of
nurses, or is it a “sitting patients only” ambulance, or whatever….
This 1:43 model is also available from pb-scale models.
Neben diesen Lkws, kommt Vector mit einer neuen Version des "Nürburg" Tourer
heraus, diesmal mit vollständig geschlossenem Dach.
Zum Glück hat Vector die Kritik an der ersten Ausführung des Modells zumindest
teilweise berücksichtigt, und einige Änderungen vorgenommen, aber aus
irgendeinem Grund - angeblich aus technischen Gründen – soll die Verbesserung der
Stoßstangen nicht möglich sein. Dennoch hat sich das Gesamtaussehen des Modells
etwas gebessert. Das 1:43 Modell ist als geschlossener Tourer in schwarz erhältlich.
Als "Coupé de ville" ist es jetzt auch in blau erhältlich.
Für Könige, Königinnen, Industriemagnaten, Politiker aller Schattierungen, MafiaBosse, usw. gibt es jetzt – ob man es glaubt oder nicht - den Vector
“Nürburg Krankenwagen“: voll komfortabel, aber nur zum Sitzen, keine
Bahre bitte! Echt klasse!! Auch unglaublich, aber wahr: Vector hat nun,
so sieht es nämlich aus, bei all seinen Nürburg-Modellen die
Rückspiegel auf die Ersatzräder gesteckt. Wie werden sie
beim Vorbild festgehalten? Klebt Uhu wirklich alles, oder
haben wir hier einen Spiegel mit einem Stahldorn am
Ende, der in das anschließend völlig nutzlose Reserverad
hineingestochen wird? So macht man’s sich einfach!
Schließlich hat Vector noch das 1:43er Modell des
Mercedes-Benz L¾ von 1926/1928 herausgebracht,
ein Modell das ursprünglich von "Master 43" (Moskau)
im Jahr 2009 gemacht wurde. Vector’s Version ist ein
etwas seltsamer „Rotes Kreuz“-Tourer. Haben wir hier
einen Truppentransporter für einen Schwestern-Stoßtrupp, oder
etwa einen Krankenwagen nur für Patienten die sitzen können? Na ja, was auch
immer… Vorsicht, der Preis des Modells könnte eine Einlieferung ins KH notwendig
machen…
All diese Modelle sind jedenfalls bei pb-scalemodels in Seattle erhältlich.
Кроме грузовиков, Vector также выпустил новую версию “Nürburg” Tourer с
полностью закрытой крышей.
Спасибо компании Vector которая приняла во внимание часть критики, и внесла
некоторые изменения, однако – скорее всего по техническим причинам – так и
не изменила бампера. В закрытой версии модель доступна в чёрном цвете. А у
же показанная версия “Coupe de ville” стала доступна в синем цвете.
Для королей, королев, бизнес воротил, различных политиков, мафиози и многих
других существует – хотите верьте или нет – модель от Vector “Nuerburg” в
версии скорой помощи: абсолютный комфорт, но только сидя. Вот это класс!!!
Невероятно, но факт, Vector теперь на всех модели “Nuerburg” вставила зеркала
в, да – да, в запасные колёса. Как они там держатся? Зеркало держится на
основании, которое вставлено в спущенное колесо или как? Помогите мне, т.к.
могу умереть от хохота!
И наконец компания Vector перевыпустила 1926/1928 Mercedes-Benz L¾
(выпущенный до этого “Master 43” в Москве в 2009 году) в красном цвете в
кузове «red cross tourer version», или “ Красный крест-туристский автомобиль ”,
или …. Эта модель также доступна у pb-scale models.
Congratulations to RIO:
They seem to have discovered the perfect marketing success
-formula: “The Mercedes collector is gullible and will collect anything at any price”. After their
inaccurate, mistake laden 1924 Benz 11/40 PS – which first came out in March 2012 – they
are now releasing on April 20th a 1909 Benz 20/35 PS (which they identify mistakenly as a
Mercedes!). The model is nothing but an ever so slightly revised old RIO Model of the 1909
Bianchi Landaulet. And they have the gall to charge 99.99 EUR retail for that! As far as I am
concerned, RIO stands for “Rest In Oblivion”. Their continued arrogance towards the
collectors, their models lacking to a large extent accuracy, and their inflated prices nowadays
are enough to make you want giving up collecting for good!
The question which of course arises is twofold: “Did the folks at Daimler Classics know about
this model, and was the model authorized by Daimler, yes or no?”
Ich muss RIO gratulieren: die Leute scheinen die perfekte Marketing-Erfolgsformel entdeckt
zu haben: "Der Mercedes Sammler ist leichtgläubig und sammelt alles, und egal zu welchem
Preis". Nach dem unsinnigen 1924er Benz 11/40 PS – die erste Ausführung kam im März 2012
heraus – kommt nun am 20. April ein Benz 20/35 PS (Baujahr 1909) heraus (den RIO auch
noch fälschlich als einen Mercedes bezeichnet!). Dieses Modell ist nichts anderes als ein nur
ganz leicht abgeändertes uraltes Bianchi Landaulet (Baujahr 1909) Modell von RIO. Dazu
kommt noch die Frechheit, dafür 99,99 € als Verkaufspreis zu verlangen! Soweit es mich
betrifft, steht RIO für "Rest In Oblivion" bzw. „Ruhe In Obsoleszenz“. RIO’s anhaltende
Arroganz zumindest gegenüber den Sammlern, die weitgehend ungenauen Modelle und ihre
überhöhten Preise sind genügend Gründe, das Sammeln ein für allemal aufgeben zu wollen!
Eine Frage, die man sich zwangsweise stellen muss, ist die, ob man bei Daimler Classics
wusste, dass das Modell hergestellt würde, und ob das Modell autorisiert war, oder nicht?
Я должен поздравить компанию RIO: кажется они вывели идеальную формулу
рыночного успеха: “Коллекционеры моделей Mercedes наивны и собирают всё и по
любым ценам”. После полной ошибок модели 1924 Benz 11/40 PS – которая вышла в
марте 2012 – они выпустили 20 апреля 1909 Benz 20-35 PS (Не Mercedes!). Эта модель
ни что иное как слегка модифицированная модель 1909 Bianchi Landaulet. И они имеют
нахальство просить за неё в розницу 99.99 евро! Как мне кажется, RIO это “Rest In
Oblivion (Покой в забвении)” – Их продолжающаяся самонадеянность в отношении
коллекционеров, их модели с огромными отличиями от оригиналов и их задранные цены
могут оказаться достаточными чтобы бросить коллекционирование насовсем!
